    • DO NOT BUY FROM MR COFFEE!! - THEY WILL NOT HELP YOU IF YOU MACHINE IS DEFECTIVE LIKE MINE
I have requested a refund from Mr Coffee for one of their Espresso machines because it is defective. They say in order to process a refund or return, i need to send them an email that includes the model number of the unit, the date code on the electrical plug, photo of the actual product., et They say if you miss ANYTHING in the email that is missing of what they require, they will not help you. The only way to return an defective item 100% VIA EMAI, they will NOT let you send it any other way, When I called to find out the status of my email that included everything they needed, I was told VERY RUDELY that they had not found my email and said to check my sent items. That has little if nothing to do with it because sent items are left there confirming the email has been sent. They were INCREDIBLY RUDE to me as if they had NO intention of helping me, Unfortuantey, they are not listed with BBB. Other reviews found on Amazon for Mr Coffee products show the same responses from Mr Cofffee STAY AWAY, the WORST company I have ever dealt with, ... show more

Had this for just a week now and I really like it. Pro: After unboxing I had to use it right away... duh. But all I had on hand was blond roast beans I had ground 2 weeks ago with a old blade grinder, I ground them up some more just to try to get an espresso grind equivalent. And BAM this machine worked perfect with that, I got a double shot that had 2/3 to 3/4 crema and tasted like heaven. Been drinking the crap outta this thing since and it's perfect every time. Con: The milk foamer is only so so. It foams but it's not thick foam. I had watched a million videos on how to foam using this type machine and it just ain't cutting it. The steamer wand just don't have enough pressure to work good, I mean it kinda/sorta works ok and some people will think it's just great, but I also bought a Morpilot brand machine for foaming and heating milk and that thing out does this by a million to 1. So in IMHO: Great for espresso, especially if you have a not so good grinder, as this is a pressurised machine it just uses pressure to force the water thru uneven bean grinds with dual wall filter baskets. But for me the steamer wand just don't work good enough, oh it works ok ...it foams but not thick foam, I like really thick foam. Also it would take 7 or 8 minutes of steaming to heat the milk...who wants to hold a stupid milk cup for 7 or 8 minutes? Not me. With that knowledge in hand would I have still bought this machine.....yes. So I guess it was a good buy after all as it makes great espresso using beans you could grind with a hammer. :) And it is dirt cheap ...$119.99 at this time point, super cheap compared to the other similar espresso machines listed. ... show more

VERY DISAPPOINTED. I purchased this item and had it shipped to me in the Philippines. I waited almost a month to get the delivery. Then the machine would not heat up or work. I never used it, even once. The return procedure from the Philippines was too complicated, lengthily and time consuming so I just had to write this purchase off as a total loss. UPDATE - The Mr. Coffee machine is now working very well. As it turned out, the voltage converter that I bought here on Amazon does not work. I went out and spent $150.00 here in the Philippines to get a 220V -110V converter and now the coffee machine works perfectly with my new converter. Sorry about that. ... show more
