Firmware preloaded and is ready to be programmed to YOUR vehicle. All components required for installation are included. NOTE: You may need to visit the dealer to enable factory remote start options if you wish to control the climate controls and all other remote start features thru the cluster. Automatic Transmission ONLY
- REMOTE START FEATURES - This is an Add-on remote start system for vehicles with existing keyless entry. Does not include remotes - this uses your factory remotes to start your vehicle. No need to carry extra key fobs! Warm or cool your car from the comfort of your home.
- PLUG & PLAY INSTALLATION TYPE - This kit uses a plug-in T-Harness which dramatically reduces number of wiring connections that typical systems require. The installation of this product will require only the plug-in connection. We provide concise instructions with plug locations for seamless installation. Adding additional options may require additional wiring connections. A person with basic knowledge of wiring car electronics should be able to install this product successfully.

I bought this for a 2015 Ford Edge. I didn't have to take off anything but the panel on the bottom of the steering wheel. Once that was off, it took about 5 minutes to connect and code everything. This thing works great! I'd highly recommend it. The instructions were mostly clear. I did not have to do anything with my remote start options outside of changing the run time. My car did not have a remote start installed prior and the options were just there. I don't normally review stuff I buy but for the price and diy easy installation on this, I'd recommend it to anyone.

5 min. install, awesome value. Able to use existing remote. 2015 Edge did not come with factory remote start. This kit was easy to install and works great.

Finding a garage to install this kit had been very difficult. I bought this one year ago and still have not found a garage who will install it. Any suggestions?

Easy to understand instructions, took less than 15 minutes to install and most of that was feeling Under the dash to get it hooked up. Works as advertised and now I’m ready for winter!

Would have given it 5 stars, But I spent a considerable amount of time on trying to find installation instructions!! Kit came in a ziploc baggie with no paperwork what so ever!! Didn't take 10 minutes to install once I got everything figured out. Works well and the wife happy!!

Installed in my 2016 Ford Edge in about 10 minutes. Took more time to read the instructions. I was a little unsure about the “Remote Start” menu, which my vehicle did not have. I opened a ticket with support, but decided to just go for it and see what happened. I plugged in the harness, went through the programming steps and just like that it started with the sequence on my fob. Remote Start menu was now present, so unit was pre-programmed and ready to go as advertised. Car is all ready to Remote Start before the Arizona summer bares down on us.
