I bought this for a 2015 Ford Edge. I didn't have to take off anything but the panel on the bottom of the steering wheel. Once that was off, it took about 5 minutes to connect and code everything. This thing works great! I'd highly recommend it. The instructions were mostly clear. I did not have to do anything with my remote start options outside of changing the run time. My car did not have a remote start installed prior and the options were just there. I don't normally review stuff I buy but for the price and diy easy installation on this, I'd recommend it to anyone.

5 min. install, awesome value. Able to use existing remote. 2015 Edge did not come with factory remote start. This kit was easy to install and works great.

well this thing is absolute garbage. i bought one last year and tried installing that one and it wouldnt do anything. it flashed the leds and i accidently stopped on the wrong color led. after that no matter what id do itd just stay on the red LED. but it was past my return date. so i bought another one and tried again. this time i got the led stopped on the blue light. followed the steps to a T and still wont do anything. just stays on the blue light. i give up. wasted money on this twice. in conclusion this is the worst remote start ive tried to install. save your money.

Took about 30 minutes to install on my 2017 Ford Edge 2017 SEL AWD. The instructions were off about stating that tou did not need to step on brake and actually start the car for the flashing steps. You do need to, otherwise the light will stay blue and it will not update the new program. No panel removal was needed in my car, wires are accessible. Take around 5 -8 seconds after lock-unlock-lock to remote start, did from inside the house and it worked fine. Would definitely buy again if needed. Only giving 4/5 stars due to the instructions being a little off.

Purchased the plug-n-play kit for my Ford Edge as the factory option in 2018 was bundled with many other unwanted options and priced prohibitively. I completed the total install in about 20 minutes - the trickiest part was removing the lower cover from the steering column (two different fasteners, a T-25 Torx and a 7mm hex!!!) for which I found easy instructions on YouTube. The provided wiring harness and module snapped in easily, programmed (following the downloaded "tip sheet") and worked the first time. Much better than the overpriced dealer-installed remote! Highly recommend! I did contact MyPushCart with a few operational questions after the install, and the tech support guys were very responsive (returned my emails within a few hours) and very helpful.
