I do not recommend buying this product and recommend the Blazing Needles brand instead. I ordered this futon to replace an old one. After deliberating online with all of this options this seemed to be the best bang for my buck. Unfortunately, it arrived in a damaged box, with stains in many locations all over it, and with one of the corner seams already pulling (see pictures). The fabric material seems like it VERY easily picks up stains and the stains that were already there made it seem like it was already used because there was no way that we created those spots in the day we got it. The mattress was also lumpy in places even after laying it out to grow to its fullest size. In order to replace it (OMG the hassle of getting a vacuum sealed mattress back in the box is another story) I ordered the Blazing Needles Renewal 10" Twill Futon Mattress, Full, Toffee (https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01HXN7H3E/ref=od_aui_detailpages00?ie=UTF8&psc=1) . There was a significant improvement in quality that could be easily seen from the two being side by side and they are exactly the same price. The Blazing Needles has higher quality stitching, more evenly distributed stuffing (so not lumpy at all), equally as comfortable to sleep on, definitely thicker (I think the Mozaic mattress was really only 6" not 8") and clearly not dirty or falling apart right out of the box. The Blazing Needles mattress with the twill is a nice material too and seemingly stain resistant for the most part which is extremely important to me as I have dogs. Finally, the color (khaki here and Toffee on the Blazing Needles) is approximately the same color but in my opinion the Blazing needles color has a nicer muter tone. I am SO GLAD I went through the horrible hassle of returning the Mozaic mattress. If you are considering getting this product, get the Blazing Needles brand instead and be so glad you did. ... show more

The last time I needed a futon mattress I drove all over town and after comparing comfort and costs, I made my purchase. This time, I don't know what made me think of Amazon for a mattress but I got on line and in 5 minutes I found exactly what I wanted. The fabric is of good quality, thick enough to be sturdy but soft enough to be comfortable. The thickness of the mattress is perfect. I have fibromyalgia and can usually feel the rails that support the mattress, not with this mattress. Yet it is not so thick that it does not fit right on the frame. Fraud! So disgusted. This mattress is literally filled with cotton fluff! There's no foam or anything close to foam. If anyone purchases this item, beware that you're paying for fluff wrapped in fabric. They shouldn't be permitted to commit fraud. If it charges me a restocking fee, they will be sued for fraud.     • What the H. E double Hocky sticks is that smell?
Package just arrived, and I opened the box, removed the two outer layers of plastic and put it on top of my current bed ( which is a queen size, I am still currently waiting on the frame I ordered for this mattress to arrive) so it would have time to regain it's normal state and the smell I was hit with was something between paint and cannabis. I opened the side zip thinking, "OK, maybe they've used industrial hemp fibers as part of the filling for this." instead of the inside looking anything like the cut-away view of the inside shown on this listing, it's just loose grey stuffing that looks similar to what you find in the lint trap of a washing machine around a foam core...lol. There is no way to remove this cover to clean it without making a horrible mess, the outer layer or cover of this futon shouldn't even have a zipper on it. There are also raw edges of fabric near the zipper on one side and this isn't one of those fabrics that don't fray... Luckily I happen to sew and put a stop to the fraying with liqui-stitch, as I was out of fray-check. It's comfortable enough, I just hope stands the test of time. As I've had futons in the past, that didn't cost as much as this one and the fabric was a quality duck, not this weird fabric that is on this. I know it says "Manufactured by Royal Sleep Products" which is located in Texas, but I'm sure all the components were shipped in from China. Part of the label that is never to be removed except by the person who purchased the futon mattress is missing. It says that the outer covering is duck. There is absolutely no way the cover is made from duck, it's a synthetic fabric, while duck is made exclusively from cotton. This is NOT cotton. ... show more

Very nice and thick ,lovely color, definitely as advertised. There’s a typical warehouse sell to it ,but went away after it aired out a bit. Your definitely going to want more than one person at home when it’s delivered it’s quite heavy to get up a flight of stairs alone.

Smells like it was in a factory where roach spray was bombed on the mattress to mask the smell of various other chemicals. Update; still airing it out....it still stinks. as a matter of fact , moved it into the garage because rain and now the entire garage is hotboxing toxic mattress fumes. It feels dangerous, headache inducing, makes eyes dry out within moments. Wish I could send this bit of chemical warfare back. ... show more
