I love my Movado watch! It’s absolutely beautiful! I’m working on my fourth watch. That’s where the three stars come in. Every time I take it to the Movado store, and have the battery changed, it makes it no longer waterproof. That means it begins to corrode inside. It is supposed to be water resistant, so I don’t think twice about wearing it in the shower. It’s taking me a long time to figure out why every three or four years I have to replace a very expensive watch! I don’t mind the cost of the watch, if it’s going to last a decent period of time. But I certainly expect to get more than 2 to 3 years out of a watch. Unfortunately, I haven’t found a watch. I think it’s more beautiful on the market. The ability for the store to replace the seal when they change the battery seems to be the real issue. If you never had to change the battery, it would be a long lasting long living watch. So my only issue, is longevity. ... show more

The Movado museum watch may well be the watch that snobby watch-tubers love to hate, but I'm willing to argue for it and what it does right - namely, look beautiful on the wrist. And that's why I have - and enjoy - mine. It's become a classic for a reason. Is it the most sophisticated piece of horology out there? Not at all. Has the company released far too many versions of this "classic"? Sure! Is it a watch to replace all other watches? Good heavens, no. But I love mine, and I'm not going to give it up because certain influencers think the brand has jumped the shark. It looks great, keeps time pretty well, and for the right occasion is exactly the right thing. Good enough for me. ... show more
