I’ve used several tv mounts but this thing is a real dream. So easy to install. Has the template, you find the studs, drill and mount it. TV drops right on and locks into place. Could not get easier to hang a big tv on the wall. Thank you! I bought another one immediately.

    • Solid product, but two things to know (77" LG)
Size: 42"-84" TV & 16"/18"/24" Studs
I used this to hang my 77" LG B4. It's up there, it's level, and it isn't going anywhere, but I wish Mounting Dream would sell the same mount with two changes, for which I would happily have paid an extra $10-$20. First, the mount that attaches to your wall comes in two pieces, joined by a plate in the middle. With even the tiny slop in the attaching points, this means the two sides might not line up perfectly. More importantly, you will never know, because the joining plate extends above and below the horizontal arms, so it is impossible to put a level across the whole apparatus. If you are using this mount, my advice is to check the level on both sides of the center plate and go with that. I ended up with it a little high on one side. Fortunately, I was able to compensate by how I attached the vertical hangers to the tv. Anyway, I wish they would sell this as one piece. I know it would make shipping more difficult, but it would be much easier to get it right if you could put a long level all the way across the mount when you hang it on the wall. The second issue is the mounting bolts. They give you four gargantuan galvanized lag screws, and if you are planning to drive them into the 1 1/2" width of a stud, you. better find the exact center. I bought some GRK structural screws that have great sheer strength with a much smaller diameter. Mounting Dream could have supplied those but it would cost a few cents more per unit. ... show more

Installation, size, weight, I been using it for couple of years now and still like the first day, i really like those straps, you pull it down to unlock your TV in case you want to get to back to connect a cable or just to remove it.

Took about 20 minutes start to finish and I think the TV would stay on the wall through the apocalypse. It seems plenty heavy for the job, you have plenty of hardware for various needs and configurations. Even a tiny level. it is very easy to install and use. It doesn't take up a lot of space. The tilt is fine for easy viewing and easily adjustable. Great value for the money and adequate for large as well as medium TVs. Seems more than adequate and inspires confidence, even if you want to substantially upgrade your TV size later... ... show more
