After reading the reviews, I knew when I ordered this I wld need to replace the hardware to anchor into drywall. Used drywall screws, changed to larger washers and used drywall mollys. I painted the screws black to match the shelf. This is not made for supporting anything but light components and strictly states that. Do not try to mount this and expect it to hold even the smallest of tvs long term. I used it to mount my antenna. Very light. It's a very attractive piece and the manufacturer needs to make this drywall friendly. Only hardware provided is for mounting into wood and the screws are still yet too small. I knew the hardware wld need to be replaced going in and I had everything I needed sitting in my garage. Larger drywall screws, larger washers and drywall mollys. Shelf is completely secure. Overall, pleased with purchase and price. Just know going in, you will need to change the hardware if you want to mount this to drywall properly. ... show more

The metal base is sturdy, the tempered glass plate is extremely hard (tempered glass...) but the adhesion tabs are not as sticky as I hoped they would be. I would've preferred if they were held by some screws or something, so I will probably get a scrap piece of wood and drill some holes. If you're going to drill into the tempered glass, use only diamond drill bits. Also, the plastic anchors they give are TERRIBLE I couldn't get them drilled in at all. Instead, I'd suggest getting brass/metal ones...otherwise i used walldog anchor screws, which worked wonderfully since they are a screw and anchor in one. ... show more
