The unit is solid and will work. But I expected the teeth at the joints to lock tighter by hand turning the knobs, but you must use the Allen wrench provided to firmly lock them into place. That means you must keep it handy to loosen it when you arrive at your destination. Also, the slot for hanging the harm on the wall is a nice idea so that you can take the tv and arm down. But, again, I wish it was a better fit and didn't have the extra wiggle room. There is an extra wall slot so that you can move the TV to a second mounting location if you like. That is nice.
