It can go up and down and sideways. I attached it on a post near the stairway but that is where my 5' Christmas Tree stands, so I have the option of pulling it up or down as needed. Also it can turn to where I eat, to my work desk and to the living room area as needed.

    • a great wall mount option for heavier monitors or medium size TVs with plenty of articulation
I searched for a while to find a gas spring articulating wall mount with height adjustability, that could also handle 50+ lbs. This Mount-It is rated to 55 lbs which is more than enough for pretty much any monitor or TV up to 55". I mounted an LG C4 48" to it which uses VESA 200x300 mounting holes. Many other wall mount arms do not support this pattern, including the other slightly more expensive Mount-It one. The 48" C4 weighs about 34 lbs without the stand so it's well within this mount's rating, and indeed I had to adjust the gas spring tension down quite a bit to balance it to the TV's weight (which is a good thing, it means the spring can definitely handle a lot more weight than this particular TV.) Easy to install, includes all hardware you might need (even some VESA screws, which is nice) and it was also easy to level the TV once installed by loosening the 3 nuts that hold the VESA mount to the arm, getting the TV level, then tightening those back down. ... show more

    • Good quality, but check the height adjustment.
The height that can be adjusted was shorter than expected, but overall, it is a good product and I’d purchase it again.

    • My New Go-to
Used this to mount a 42in flat screen for a monitor at a church so it can be pushed flat against the wall if needed. And it works perfectly. This is the fourth Mount-It product i have bought in recent months and all have worked flawlessly. My new go-to.

    • Defective Product
I bought two in July 2025 and today March 1 2026 I finally opened the boxes to install them. I had to order 2 more TV mounts because one broke while I was trying to get the gas shock to work. The 2nd one is also frozen. Obviously it’s way past the return period. The least i can do is to warn you. DO NOT BUY The chances they are defective is high! Honestly my worst Amazon purchase ever. ... show more
