As I said in the title, this was a very challenging build. Took about a week of work to get it done. There were no missing pieces. In fact, there were a few extra of the smaller ones. I would highly recommend this model if your into technic builds. I had a lot of fun putting it together. It did require some understanding of technics when it came to problem solving after you make a mistake and put a section in wrong. Some of the instructions were a little confusing but became clearer once you study it for a bit. You will surely feel a sense of accomplishment once you finish it and see it run for the fist time.

Got this for my son as a gift. He loved building it but he's so good it only took him like a bit over an hour. All pieces were there and went together without issues. It wasn't a super strong motor but you could feel some air coming through. Took way too many batteries though to run it. I think it was 6.

This model V8 is a great lesson on the way engines operate. As the assembly is done, the parts duplicate a real engine. Watch the cam shafts turn, valves open close, pistons and crankshaft operate like a real V8. Instructions are clear and parts are bagged to be opened in order. Great buy.

The media could not be loaded. Great project. Over 2700 pieces. Good directions and all of the pieces were there. It helps to know how an engine works. Only had a couple small mistakes. I had a lot of fun putting it together! Cool project!

The 525 steps to complete this leave a lot to be desired. As you proceed you build small modules and then add them to the basic frame as you go along. This is done with pictures that are often impossible to read and understand. I have built several hundred models in my 80 years, but this one is extremely difficult because of the inadequate instructions. Also, if you make a slight error in assembling a module, when discovered, will force you to back up and remove modules and make the correction (if you catch it before it is too late). I completed it, but the motor section will not connect to the basic model and the motor does not function. This is for experts only.
