The media could not be loaded. The build is very challenging but doable (and rewarding) if you are patient and follow the instructions carefully. * This is a project for teenagers and adults. The box says ages 14+, which is appropriate. * The 88-page instruction book has good directions. * The parts come in bags separated into building sections. You don't have to open all the bags at once, giving you fewer pieces to hunt through. * Pieces are compatible with LEGO/Technic. There were no missing pieces. * It is well designed and sturdy when complete. * The engine requires 6 AA batteries (not included) * Once built, the engine operates at two speeds and in both forward/reverse. The operating switches are reasonably accessible. * When operating, you can see the gears and the pistons moving. * Good STEM project for teenagers who enjoy mechanical projects. * Price was quite reasonable considering the hours of entertainment provided to build it, educational value, and material quality.

Directions are difficult, some parts do not stay together (ie: the heads) also with the frame assembled around the battery pack the connection for the power does not stay connected. Had fun putting together most of the parts fit, just had a hard time with the directions.

This build looks realistic until you see the rainbow-colored interior fans. There are no other oddly colored parts in this build, so these fans really stand out, just not in a good way. The build itself is fine...the instructions are clear, the part quality is good, the metallic-looking elements look great and there were no missing pieces. The motion functions work well, so if you don't have an issue with the fan colors, this may be a set you will enjoy.
