This worked great on my 2021 Ram with the one exception, that the left side tie down is located right at my exhaust and melted off the end cap on the carrier. The carrier is sturdy and functions well. Held my CRF 300L without issue. The instructions leave a little bit to be desired and all the videos are of a different iteration so they don't match exactly with what you have but it's not too difficult to figure out. Highly recommend you get the tail light kit with it. The bike will completely block your tail lights. It should have came with them in my opinion.

Overall, the rack is a solid design and I feel at peace with the bike on it. And this is what really matters. There is some wobble, but overall it is all to be expected especially once you leave the paved road. However there is one serious flaw that anyone who is using the system should be aware of. At this price point the customer should have complete peace of mind. The mechanism of how the ramp is attached is flawed. First off, it rattles as it is quite loose. Then in my case, the pin that secures the ramp came off as we were driving washboard backroads. Clearly that spring system that is supposed to keep it in place came loose. I stopped to check and saw the ramp just laying unsecured with the pin off and not attached. I removed the ramp and put it inside my vehicle. I will never use that system for transportation again. It's dangerous. MotoTote need to figure out a better way than using that flimsy pin - spring design, even a key ring or carabiner would be better than that. Just imagine I would have lost the ramp on the freeway and another biker would have hit that ramp at 70mph. This is why I subtracted two stars. I contacted customer service about this issue. Their response was this is the first time they have heard about it in 20 years. It didn't sound like they would do anything about it. I know other folks who store their ramp inside the vehicle. The other feedback is that at the price point, Moto Tote should use stainless steel hardware. The ramp is brand new and after a month all the bolts are rusting. I assume the "Made in USA" label is meant to imply a certain level of quality. I realize that you offer stainless hardware on your website for an extra $30 or so, but that should come standard and not as an upgrade. I was also told that the zero wobble bolt is custom and cannot be found online. Well, Moto Tote seems to have a supply. I don't see anything special about this bolt - it is hard and holds stuff together. Why is this bolt $8.00? And did I mention it rusts after a month?

While I agree with other reviewers that the inclusion of stainless hardware would increase the value for money rating, this alone should not knock this very stout carrier. My Chevy pickup truck has a 6000 pound tow rating and my Vespa GTS 300 Super Sport weighs 350 pounds so I'm well within my truck's tongue capacity. I really like the powder coat finish but decided to add 2 1/2 inch anti-slip tape down the center of the wheel track to prevent slipping in wet weather. While I have not experienced the ramp hold-down pin coming loose, I have noticed the ramp rattles when driving down the road--(a piece of thin foam tape will minimize the buzzing noise if it bothers you). I also purchased the LED light kit and they work flawlessly right out of the box. They took about 15 minutes to install onto the MotoTote (4-phillips head screws and some zip-ties with 4-pin connector). Overall, I'm very happy with this purchase and will be taking a 16-hour round trip drive in a week with this newly installed on my truck. I have absolutely ZERO worries about my Vespa on this very sturdy and AMERICAN BUILT carrier!

Works well and I'm satisfied. The included anti-wobble hardware for the hitch could use some improvement but holds up fine and does the job on typical paved roads - recommend beefing it up if you intend to drive off road with the bike loaded.
