I love everything about this set but the noise. I keep the noise part on all night and it has developed this crackling electronic noise. It’s only increased in volume and frequency over time so I’m afraid I’ll have to replace it once the crackling gets too loud for me to sleep with.

I did a bit of research before picking this monitor system. We were transitioning from one child to two, and needed a two camera system. The main reasons I chose this set is because of the ability to monitor both of my children at the same time, and supposed distance this monitor set is able to receive. Overall I am unimpressed and wish we would have purchase a different product. The first thing I noticed was the distance issue - the ad says 1000 feet. I was hoping to be able to have one child napping and be out in our yard with the other, but the monitor does not reach and loses signal. The main issue I have now after a few months of use is the battery life. We did exactly as the instructions ask, but sure enough the battery is basically worthless unless you have it plugged in. The monitor loses charge super fast and then makes this awful beeping noise. We tried letting it beep until it completely died to try and train the battery, but the thing will beep for hours before it actually dies - it’s infuriating. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PRODUCT unless you plan to keep everything plugged in and charging at all times and stay inside your house. ... show more

Very happy with this monitir and two cameras. It’s easy to operate. The screen is big enough to see both babies at the same time or it rotates to each camera that every 10 seconds. I read the reviews about a grainy picture for night time viewing but I’m surprised how well the picture actually is. I have a night light on the opposite wall of the babies which does put some light in the room which does help at night can see my babies just fine. It picks up sounds very clearly which will tell me if they are awake. I haven mounted them to the wall yet but I’m happy very with this purchase! ... show more

Picture could be a little better in black and white. Color is good though. Sound is kind of fuzzy, could be clearer. Needs another way to hang it up. Camera is naturally in zoom mode. I bought this because I had an older model that I liked, but this one is extremely disappointing. (1) When I have the parent unit switching between my two kids’ rooms, the audio will switch a good 4-5 seconds before the video will. That’s a lot when it only stays on one camera for 8 seconds. (2) When my child speaks to me over the monitor, there is also about a 4 second delay. The old one was only a second or two, tops. (3) When speaking with my child over the monitor, when I let go of the mic button, there are about three seconds before I can hear anything from his room again. This didn’t happen on the old model, and is a problem when my child replies to what I’ve said and I don’t hear him. (4) When I use the arrow buttons to pan around the room, the image sticks. It wouldn’t be a big deal, but the old model didn’t do this, so I know it could be better. I contacted Motorola about all of these issues and they stated that everything works properly, so I guess these are all normal, expected issues. I’ll be returning this monitor and do not recommend it ... show more

The temperatures are very inaccurate. It always says the rooms are between 80 and 86 degrees. It's never been that warm in our house. We contacted Motorola to find a solution and they sent new cameras but that didn't help either. We've been using it for about 4 months and the battery life on the parent unit has greatly decreased. The large screen is nice and the split screen option is very helpful for when both kids are sleeping. However it would be nicer if the sound could rotate from room to room while still on split screen. The stat grip is very convenient for mounting but it only comes with one. I'd like one for each camera. ... show more
