    • A few small issues but over all, a great value smartphone
I wanted a backup phone but not spend too much. The Motorola Edge was recommended to me, and it turns out it suits my purpose well. Only one or two small things of concern, but these can be worked with. Pro: The phone is Android Snapdragon 7 Gen2. This is a mid-range chipset and it's acceptable. For most use, you won't any problems. Over time, however, the support for the software might wane. 6.28 by 2.83 by 0.31 inches Dimension, comes in leather-like Midnight Blue only, and it's a very slim and SLIPPERY phone. If you are a butterfingers like me, you'll want a military-grade, oopsie-dropsie-proof case. So for those wanting a slim, smaller phone than say an iPhone Pro Max, it's still big enough to use comfortably but not so big as to bulge out the pockets. The phone supports fast charging at 68W and wireless charging at 15W but only comes (at least mine did) with a USB-C cable so you'll have to supply your own fast charge. Regular charging was too slow, but the battery life is fairly long, so if you charge overnight, you might skim by with no extras. I recommend a fast charger as an upgrade. Connectivity: you can use a SIM card or eSIMS. I fired mine up with an eSim and a budget pre-paid wireless service. No issues getting it going, or setting it up on my WiFi. Problems: I found the speaker was muffled-sounding. This could be just my particular unit, but it was not good. I cleaned out the speaker outlet (a slit at the top) and cleared the storage and cache. It hooks up well with a bluetooth speaker. I'll test it out on a USB-C connectable set of earbuds at a later time. The screen is bright and clear. No flickering. Camera: not its best feature. I think it lacks detail compared to my iPhone 13. If a good camera is your desire, pass on this one. As to looks, it reminds me of the OnePlus models, if you've seen them. (The only other Androids I've used in past.) Summary: for a less-expensive smartphone, perfectly fine and can be found at decent values, so works for a backup or a phone for a younger person who might not be as careful as they need to be with a phone. Terrific case. It is slim, yet protective and includes the ring for magsafe attachments for adding my wallet, car mount and wireless charger. It's easy to put on and remove. The price is good. I like the durable metal trim and buttons, which function well. The edges are supportive enough to protect the screen, but still let you reach and use the edge features of the screen.     • Fantastic (refurbished) phone!
Pristine condition, and performs great! I'm using it on the AT&T network. I'm upgrading from a Galaxy s22 and this phone feels so much smoother. Because of its curved edges, it is much easier to hold as well. Granted, the curved edges means the display edges can look a little weird but this is not bothersome to me. All in all, great phone, indistinguishable from a new one in my opinion. Interesting issue: I'd put the sim into an iPhone, and after putting it back in this phone, the hotspot wouldn't work. AT&T couldn't figure out why and even change my SIM card to no avail. On a whim, I put the SIM in another Android device. After putting the SIM back in the edge, hotspot now magically works again! ... show more

I bought this phone as unlocked. I got it and it was locked to Spectrum. I'm trying to unlock it. It cost me $20 buck, and it's going on for 2 weeks and has no unlock code. Will probably have to return it. Not much of a gift for my wife.

9.5/10 excellent condition, I swapped my Verizon chip and it worked. Did not even have to go in and activate it.. I had a moto z4 128gb. I just wanted something with wireless charging and more storage.. The phone will ask you to sign in to google account then you can sync your contacts and apps.. Not too hard kind of easy... ... show more

I've been incredibly impressed with the phone. I can't say enough about how much I love this phone. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because it arrive with a burn image on the screen. But the photos are amazing screen image when not on a white background is beautiful. Performance is top tier, sounds are great and full play store app available. For 150 bucks this a steal and totally worth the price and I would buy it again in a heart beat ... show more

Didn't realize a couple things; there is no headphone jack so you gotta get Bluetooth audio accessories for it, there is no extra memory slot so gotta be wise on storage usage, it was unlocked from tracphone so there will be some residual apps you can't get rid of. And last, even though cricket sells a version of this phone they do not provide service for it. So be sure to check your carrier.
