  • Great!
Purchased as gift for my son who is an A&P mechanic and he put it together in a few hours with no problems. He loved it. I recommend!

  • Flimsy at first, then clicks into place—cool turbine build w/ nice metallics & spares 🛠️⚙️✨
🧰 First impressions • Unofficial Technic-style turbine engine build, but the parts are LEGO-compatible. • Early steps feel surprisingly flimsy, which had me worried at first. 🔧 Setup & compatibility • Pins/joins fit with official LEGO Technic pieces. • Some connections take more effort than LEGO — not as silky-smooth or refined. • Manual is very bare-bones: no contents page and no parts index. 📦 What’s in the box • A lot of parts for the price, including metallic bronze and silver elements. • Spare parts included (and they actually mattered for me). 💦 Performance • Build stability improves as you progress — once you reach the structural steps, it starts locking together and feels much more solid. • Metallic colors look great: bronze and silver pieces with a nice pink-ish sheen in the finish. • Spare parts saved me: I made a mistake, tore down a section, snapped a piece, and the extra parts covered it. ✅ Pros • Interesting turbine-engine model with lots to build • Metallic pieces look excellent (bronze/silver) • Ends up sturdier than it feels in the early steps • Includes spares, which is huge for a complex Technic-ish build • Serious value for the money 🙂 Trade-offs • Some parts are tighter/harder to assemble than LEGO • Instruction booklet is minimal (no index, no contents) • Manual doesn’t fit the box well, so it may arrive bent 💡 Quick tips / creative uses • Don’t judge it on the first few steps — keep going until the larger framework starts tying everything together. • Sort pins/axles early; tighter fits make “wrong pin in the wrong hole” more annoying to undo. • Keep the spare parts aside until the end — they’re great insurance if you have to backtrack. 🧑🔧 My take This is one of those unofficial Technic builds that feels sketchy at first, then suddenly “comes alive” once the structure connects. The metallic pieces look awesome, spares are included, and for the price it’s a fun, satisfying build as long as you expect a slightly tighter, less refined assembly experience than LEGO. Who it’s for / not for: Great for Technic fans who want a cool display/mechanical-style build on a budget; not for anyone who needs perfect LEGO-smooth assembly and a premium manual. Overall A good-value turbine engine kit with great-looking metallic parts and a build that pays off if you stick with it past the early flimsy stages. ... show more

  • Cool but difficult and frustrating to build
I really really wanted to love this set as it is really cool and very technical but man is it a frustrating to build. I have still yet to finish it as I needed to take breaks before I lose my sanity. For off most of the non plated parts fit together perfectly with the exception of a few pieces that felt a little too loose, but that doesn't matter once more pieces are added on. The set comes with a good selection of spare parts which I have yet to need. Each bag comes with the exact amount you need so if your missing a part it's probably because you dropped it somewhere. The manual comes with an addendum for some gears that are supposably wrong and for a few steps that can be tricky. It has a QR code to a link to a video to show how those pieces show be put together. I didn't find a need to use those videos as the manual worked just fine for me. The set comes some replacement gears that are apparently wrong but I couldn't find any difference in the gears other than the new ones fit extremely tight. The main issue I have with this set is how dang tight the plated parts fit together. Normally with plated parts it's the other way around where they are too loose. i love the look of the plated parts but are so hard to put together because of how tight they fit. It seems even worse when you have to put a plated part on a non plated part. The part that has given me the biggest issues is installing the plated internals of the engine onto the long rod that holds them. The parts fit so tight that I thought I was going to break the rod. After getting all of the parts on and moving on with the build I only find out later that one end of the rod is sticking out too far on the front side where the fan is. So this means I now have to take apart a good chunk of the build to fix it. This is where I sopped as by this point my fingers hurt so bad that they need a chance to heal before trying again. A simple fix to this issue would have been to put a 1:1 scale top down picture of what the finished internals should look like and how much of the rod should be stick out of each end. Instead they wasted 5-6 pages on showing installing one part at a time which wasn't needed. Also there are two big grey silver plated gears that mount on the front of the build. While one of them look perfect, the other looks like it spent too much time in the paint. Also keep in mind this build uses a 3D printed part for the rear cowling. While this part was printed really well and looks really nice you need to be careful with it so you don't accidently break it as a replacement would not be easy to get unless you have the skills and tools to make a new one. I also think there are a few steps in the manual that could be switched around to make the set easier to build. I will update this review once I finally get the build finished. As of right now I can't recommend this set to anyone as I think it just has too many issues that need to be fixed. ... show more

  • Family Build Time — Sparking Future Engineers!
Ok, finally I have time to start building this awesome project with my kids! Watching them dive into this motorized turbofan engine set has been pure joy — the spinning fan blades and realistic jet action make it feel like real aviation magic. Those shiny metallic bronze and silver parts, the end result looks like a pro aircraft replica. We spent a cozy afternoon together, sorting parts and tackling the steps. All locked in solidly, and the spares came in handy for one little mix-up. The visual instructions kept things moving, and it’s fully compatible with other brands for more creations later. I hope engineering becomes something my kids go into in the future — projects like this spark that curiosity and problem-solving perfectly. It’s not just a toy; it’s a STEM adventure that builds skills and excitement. Amazing value and a total hit for family bonding! ... show more
