I've only used these once, however it was to move my bike 2.5k miles on a utility trailer. I went over many different types of road and bumps and I never even needed to tighten it a second time (I checked at every stop). It was an easy on and easy off, which was wonderful for unloading in the southern heat. I love that it comes in a small carrying bag so easy to keep together.
