Head Shape: This is a round oval head shape, meaning of you have an intermediate oval or elongated oval head you will feel a lot is pressure on the front and back of you're head. Clear visor: honestly this is one of the best I've had in terms of being optically correct. It's so clear you don't notice it. No obstruction to vision at all. Sun Visor: that's the second worst feature of the helmet. Looks very hazy when looking through it, terrible glare and almost unusable. Ventilation: it's actually quite good for airflow and possibly the best feature of the helmet. Noise: By far the worst part of the helmet is the noise. It echoes deep bass sounds incredibly well. This means if you have loud pipes it will be quite a bit louder, to the point of being unbearable. The wind noise is quite loud as well. Would I recommend this? Only if you only ride around town..... I am very impressed with this helmet. Two visors, one tinted for daytime and one full front clear one is great. The helmet itself is very comfortable and easy to get on and off with my earrings/hair. The chin strap is soft and easy to fasten/unfasten. Exceeded every expectation.

Was worried about buying such an inexpensive helmet but found it ti be very comfortable and constructed very well. Surprised how aerodynamic it is. Wish it had a D ring so I could lock it to my bike but other than that very impressed.

I commute on a 150cc scooter and most times go up to 50mph on surface streets. Things I like about the helmet: secure fit, light weight without feeling flimsy, and overall style. The two things that I really dislike: the overall cheapness of the liner and the odd drafts that enter under the face shield at speed. The lining has a soccer ball pattern that creates pressure points and leaves marks on my forehead. I also had to cut out a hook and loop fastener that is dead center on the portion that is over your forehead. Once I cut that piece out, it was much more comfortable but still not as good as a uniformly smooth liner. As for the draft, it is not a problem in hot weather as it keeps you from sweating. When the temp drops, however, it can allow too much cold air to hit the side of your face. There is also a loud whistling at the sides of the face shield due to the design. My favorite open face helmet is the Nolan N42E. That helmet has a very large face shield that does a good job at eliminating drafts on the face. The Yema helmet is $100 cheaper so based on that, it is definitely worth the money. The inner sun shield is too close to my face to easily fit over glasses but partially down, it does a good job of blocking sun off my forehead. ... show more
