Good for most basic helmet. We used to call these peanut shell helmets back in the day. Wouldn’t want to crash going to fast. But looks great! Lol. As far as sizing they run big. Size down one. Have you ever had ice cream in a plastic baseball helmet or pirate hat? That is what this is. It has a DOT label painted on it & some pads inside. No way it was approved by any real safety organization. Probably better than riding bald. Fits weird, in fact it sits high on the head unless the chin strap pulls it down. To get the look that you want if you're looking at these helmet, it needs to be tight. Better options areavailable. . ... show more

It's a good helmet. But it was huge on my head. I wear a large helmet and always have but this is easily twice as big as a standard large. And unfortunately I kept it too long to return it. So I would suggest getting a size or too smaller

These are truly skull caps. They claim dot approved. But unless dot has dramatically changed their standards.. no way. I moved to a helmet states from a no helmet state .. this will make them happy and not smoother me in the heat. They will offer little protection in a crash.

For the price, pretty great quality. I’m an adapt and overcome type of person, so the little things didn’t bother me much. Pros- - It’s DOT certified so legal for riding places that require helmets. - light weight - adjustable - plain colors are pretty customizable and it came incredibly quickly. Cons- -Not really any contour to your head, just feels like a bowl with a strap. - the strap is burnt on the ends, it’s pretty scratchy and rough but I just taped over it and moved on. - not exactly going to stand between you and a serious head injury, but if you’re the type of person that doesn’t wear one unless absolutely required, this is perfect for the price point. ... show more
