I find that the tabs on the side to hold the trash bag work great but the Velcro for the lid needs to be a tad lower, or the tabs need to be higher, because the bag gets in the way. This would work if my state still has plastic grocery bags those would work perfect for this. And for those with big hands the hole to put the trash through can be a bit small. Other than that, it holds a lot, controls odor well, and is easy to clean. I love it.

Now this has saved my car from messy trashy floors! The lid on this trash bin stays secure and shut. Trash stays in and I only empty it every 2-3 weeks because it stores a good amount of trash.
