  • Working well for now
Working well for last 2 months but haven’t had much luck with aftermarket thermostats in this Subaru Outback. I have replaced thermostat every six or seven months after 180000 miles. I put about 500 miles a week on the car driving to work. Hopefully this will last longer. I also replace antifreeze every time with the thermostat when it starts overheating because the thermostat sticks. I have tried different aftermarket brands but about the same result. Unfortunately I need the car every day so I can’t wait for a Subaru dealer or wait for the OEM part because of the catastrophic failure. It doesn’t happen gradually. It usually overheats on my way home from work and puts the motor in the red zone which will eventually cause other issues if not corrected immediately. ... show more

  • Why buy this when you can light your car on fire for free?!
Google "stuck coolant thermostat" so you know what to expect from this product. Hey motorad, want to stand by your product and reimburse me for the towing cost?
