Since no one said it straight up... YES, this DOES COME WITH AN O-RING! It's a thicker, flat surface type o-ring/gasket. I got this for my 2000 Lincoln Navigator and the fit was perfect. Since I was nervous about it not coming with an 0-ring, I ordered a 3-pack of RG-571 O-rings for about $9, from Amazon here. Those as well fit perfectly and are a better fit than the one included. But... the one included does work, you just have to squish it down as you tighten your thermostat housing. This part is very well made and installation wasn't bad at all. Pretty easy to get to on the Navigator since it's at the top of the engine, left hand side. This is a fantastic deal for this and it's been keeping my vehicle cool. My Navigator OEM Thermostat is a 195deg, but I decided on the 180 and for me, it's perfect. I'd rather my motor stay cooler. All n all, I highly recommend this! ... show more

Works well on 2010 Chevy Silverado 1500. Temp stays consistently at around 195 degrees compared to the OEM 210 degrees. Yes, thermostat came with rubber gasket.

Works exactly as it should. I just want to let everybody know before your thermostat is changed out assuming that it’s only the thermostat. Make sure that your radiator cap is tight. If you have a radiator cap on your vehicle I know a lot of new vehicles don’t have radiator caps, but if your vehicle does have a radiator cap a lot of times the radiator cap wears out or gets warped and it will definitely signal some of the same signs as needing to put a new thermostat in so it could be your radiator gap but be on the safe side go ahead and change your thermostat and your radiator cap if you want to . To say the least this is an excellent product. And if you think it is your thermostat buy this thermostat, BeCause it’s the best thermostat on the market. ... show more
