I found it easy enough to assemble, not sure what the fuss on other reviews was about. Blade is solid and sturdy. Weak link is mounting bracket. It doesn’t seem to stabilize the blade as good as is like. Blade seems to swivel and fishtail in front of syb on my gravel lane (using the pads so blade doesn’t push gravel.). Just seems like there should be a way to take out that play. Also seems to bounce and skip because it’s only the weight of the plow holding blade down and not hydraulic pressure like a plow truck. I bought this snowplow for my new Massimo Buck 450. I am extremely impressed with how substantial the plow is. It is definitely built to last. I was able to use the universal mount. What I discovered after removing the front skip plate is the front skid plate bolts fit the mounting plate perfectly. I was able to use the skid plate bolts to temporarily secure the mount plate. The mount wasn't wide enough to use the U bolts, so I drilled 4 3/8" holes through the frame and through-bolted the mount to the frame using 3/8 X 2 inch bolts secured with lock nuts. In the front, to allow clearance for the pusher lock-pins, I configured the bolts upwards with the nuts on the top of the frame. I had no trouble using a vice grip to hold the nuts above the frame while tightening them with my socket wrench below. I'm very happy with the results. I was initially a bit concerned about drilling holes in the frame, however the addition of the very thick metal mounting plate will add way more structure to the frame than the holes took away. As you can see in the photos, I utilized shackles and a pulley to enhance the lift from the winch. This provided a much better lift angle and allows the blade to lift higher. I made sure to confirm the load from each component could handle the weight and forces of the blade and winch. The weak point is the pulley at only 550 lbs. I like this setup because, if any force becomes too much, the pulley will fail first which is easily replaced. so I just finished installing this on my Kawasaki 650 Prairie. Before I bought this I actually went to the MotoAlliance website and checked out their options for plows. They offered a custom kit for my Prairie which was basically a custom mounting bracket versus the generic one that comes in that kit. For that piece it was $80 more so I opted to buy the universal kit. If you're buying this site unseen , chances are unless you have one of the quads they mention for it not fitting, I think you should be OK. I put the mounting bracket on first which is actually last in the instructions - I figured if the mounting bracket didn't fit, what was the point of assembling everything else. I will attach a picture of the mounting bracket. The instructions say to remove the skid plate, I didn't need to on my mine. I had 1.5 round frame pipe exposed going into an "X" shape. Using the provided U-Bolts , putting the mounting bracket on was very easy. The rest of the installation is straight forward. Putting the wear bars on the blade was a bit of a pain. I'm not a fan of the nuts with nylon inserts and with no clearance for a ratchet, I had to put 7 of them on with a open end wrench.(14mm). The instructions are decent enough and all told with a couple of do overs because I decided I wanted to rust proof the nuts and bolts, it took me less than 2 hours. The plow is heavy - the front end definitely knows its there. My biggest fear was buying this thing and having it shipped to me (UPS man just looooves me) then it not fitting. Luckily the mounting bracket is designed to fit a bunch of different frames and they give you multiple U Bolts to give it a tight fit. I wouldn't see spending $500 or more for an ATV blade when this heavy thing is available for $329. I went with the 60" inch model so that when I angle it, its still as wide as the tires on my quad. ... show more

It is built decently. The ubolts for mounting need nylon nuts because they keep loosening up. The locking lever for the angel also needs improvement. It catches quite often and makes it hard to change the angle of the blade.

This is a nice plow, heavy duty. My only issue was the installation. This is NOT a universal fit for a 2019 Polaris sportsman 450 HO! We had to order a custom mount bracket to fit.... customer service was great when we called, emailed us and called us back very quickly. That is one of the reasons I gave it four stars. We haven't used it yet. I will update after use to see if it still deserves 4 stars. ... show more

Bolting on the wear plate is a pain can’t get to the lock nuts to tighten them very easy and paint in the thread on the pivot assembly, hard to get started and easy to cross thread

I got the 60" for my 2019 Honda Rancher. It pushes snow really well and the snow doesn't build up on the blade. The blade swivels side to side really easy. I really like the plow and it seems heavy duty. No issues pushing snow. I would have gave 5 stars but the bolts to put on the blade protector are a real pain, but doable. ... show more

Very sturdy built plow, well reinforced along the sides. Built very similar to what you would see on a pickup truck. Plow has a good curve so that snow rolls instead of piling up. The universal mount was initially a little tricky to put on without an extra set of hands or a floor jack to hold it in place while you choose the right size U-bolts. I have this on my 2019 CFMOTO Cforce 800XC. I have been very impressed at how much snow this combo can push, even the heavy wet stuff. I have had to reposition the mount a couple of times, mostly because I kept pushing snow into banks with the blade at an angle. Wouldn't hesitate to buy this setup again! ... show more
