Apparently someone bought phone, registered it, returned it. It was not unlocked when received by me, tried a hard reset but Google will not allow a new user without previous owner's credentials as an anti-theft deterrent. Motorola said it is not useable and advised returning to seller (Amazon-renewed). My refund did not include tax. Do better Amazon . Going to space, can't fix a phone?? ... show more

This phone was unlocked, therefore it does not support Verizon wifi calling, returned this and got a Verizon locked phone of the same type, wifi works great. Did not know that certain features for verizon do not appear on an unlocked phone, but it makes sense.

So it works well the camera is AMAZING it connects to everything just fine the only problems I've noticed so far is that the screen locks when in a call so I can not use the dial pad or put it on speaker, every now and then the touch screen doesn't register or clicks the wrong thing, and the finger scanner only unlocks it have the time I'm not sure if it is because it refurbished or the phone in general has a kink or if it's a problem I'm doing EDIT**** THE black screen was caused by my phone case even though it was made for that phone when I removed it the problem went away so you can look at it two ways 1 either have a case that doesnt cover sensor or look at it as a defect that the sensor is in the spot a case covers ... show more
