The handlebars on my bike were moving when I hit a bump or pulled back or pushed on them which is unsafe. I first attempted to remove the protective coating from the groves that hold the bars in place and it worked for a while but started moving again. All the rough groves were getting rounded off and the bars kept slipping. Tired super glue next and that did not work super well. These shims are a perfect fit and I am expecting them to be a long term solution to making the handlebars secure forever. Glad I ran across these as an option. ... show more
