I used this same model with my first kid (great), and this time around the plastic parts are lower quality. This is quieter than my original one that plugs in.

This isnt getting 5 stars because it only comes with 24 and 28mm flanges. I tried using inserts with the 24mm and didn't have much success. I had to wait until the size I needed came in the mail to use the pump. Once I had the proper size, it worked great. The suction is strong. I got a comparable amount to the medela pump in style, but quieter. I wish the massage mode had quicker and stronger cycles to trigger a letdown. The battery life seems good as after 11 uses its still showing as full. It remembers what settings it was on when turned off, beware- if you had it on a high setting that first pump when you turn it on might make you wince. It has a timer, auto shut off and a night light. I don't use the night light as i don't find it bright enough to be useful. (Even on its brightest setting) Great pump overall.

Update: I actually love this pump now and it's the only one I use anymore. It took me a little bit to find my perfect settings. Here's what I found - it does empty me well and the suction is stronger than the spectra - it just took me a little bit to find my perfect settings. So I've been an exclusively pumping mom for both of my boys for medical reasons so I know how hard it is to decide on the right pump. With my first son, I had the medela freestyle pump. I loved its portability but that's it. It hurt so much to pump and I loathed every second of it. I realize now, I had too big of shields so I sized down this time to have a portable option and it's still super painful. This time around I went with a spectra s2. I LOVE my spectra. It isn't painful at all and almost comfortable. The only thing is that it is large and there's no battery. I decided to splurge for this pump to have a portable one as well. The motif luna I received was a lemon. I called customer service and they got me a new one and it arrived within two days. They were amazing to deal with! Anyway, the pump is rather large to what I was thinking it would be for a portable. But I just put it into a smaller purse to carry it around. The pump is nice. I've seen people say they get more milk in less time. I don't think that's true in my case. My spectra is amazing at getting milk out. But this pump is comfortable, especially if you have more sensitive breasts. The suction on the highest setting isn't quite as powerful as my spectra but it does the job well. I also love that I can use my spectra parts!

I love the Luna! I actually have two Lina’s - one at home and one at work. That’s how great they are! It holds a great charge, lots of different levels for suction power, remembers your previous session levels, powerful suction, pump accessories are durable and last for awhile before having to be replaced, awesome customer service, and they’re always running good sales on the pump accessories.

The suction isn't as strong as Spectra 1 but it's fine. It just takes longer to pump because the suction isn't as strong.

I have the Motif Luna that I got from aeroflow without the battery through my insurance. This pump (with battery) that I bought here has way less suction and takes double the time to empty than my other one. Not sure if it’s just a lemon or what but definitely not what I expected for the price.

I unexpectedly found myself having to exclusively pump while my daughter was in NICU. I began with a different pump which was ok. As I began doing research, I learned about the Motif. Such a game changer! It empties me faster and has a wider range of suction power that is easy to adjust. The display is amazing! I love the timer to know how long I’ve been pumping and seeing which mode I am in. There’s an auto shut off feature to ensure the pump doesn’t go forever if I accidentally fall asleep pumping in the middle of the night. The battery helps immensely in being able to move around as needed. By far, this is my favorite, go to pump!
