    • You won't cut yourself because of the buntness.
I used it (and continue to do so) to cut paper tape off thick Ace bandages. Because the ends are blunt, I don't need to worry about cutting my skin. Also, recently a veterinarian applied a rather thick bandage on my dog's paw. Without those scissors I would have been worried that I would cut her skin. These are very small, so good for using to trim wiggly toddler hair. They are sharp enough to cut on one snip but are safe without the pointy end.
