I have a 2000 Honda Accord that had intermittent stalling and the issue was the MAP sensor. Easy to install, just 2 screws. Make sure to take off the old O ring and replace it with the new one that is enclosed.

After struggling with low iddling on my 1998 Honda Accord Dx model, I diagnosed my issue is the MAP sensor. I bought this one for just over $10! Installed it and my car runs smooth and like a champ again! The only thing I will CAUTION for is to be VERY careful unscrewing the screws!!!!! You'll have a bad day if you damage them while unscrewing them. The rear screw is very hard to get to. You don't have much room to work with. This is good product and does it's job at the fraction of the cost. My local auto parts store sells it for $80! ... show more

The sensor itself seems okay. I was disappointed to see it did not come with a new o-ring as pictured. Rather than wait for another one(assuming I'd get one) I had to go find one instead.

    • Great fit
Come with the o ring. You have to take off throttle body to replace this. Took 30 min to install. Might as well replace the idle air control valve while your at it….maybe TPS (throttle position sensor) as well. Fit great, worked great!

    • Scheduled Maintenance turns into a week from hell
I wasted a week of my life doing a simple MAP sensor replacement. As soon as I put this MAP sensor in I got a Check Engine Light, halting, dying, etc. I spent days and days taking it off and putting it back on again, trying everything I could to make sure nothing I did interfered. Tried the OEM o-ring and the one that came with the sensor, I tried sealing it from leaks, I tried every which way to secure it on there - it doesn't come with screws or hardware so of course all that effort ended up busting one of the screws off. So I ordered a new throttle body to start over and I put the MOSTPLUS MAP SENSOR on the brand new throttle body and STILL got the same problems, idling problems, surging, sputtering, and CEL as soon as I turn the car on. I banged my head against the steering wheel, I thought my car was done for. Then I put another OEM map sensor on... Problem solved. This part gave me more stress than its worth. I could've built a new car in the time it took figuring out the thing was broken from the factory. Don't pinch pennies, get a reliable map sensor. Junk Yard, OEM, anywhere but here. ... show more
