The cheapest MAF sensor I could find for my car & now I know why. Bought in February. today Check engine light came on, only code that's reading is mass air flow sensor. I feel like a brand new part should last longer than 5 months

    • Ok in a pinch
Wouldn't recommend for a client's vehicle but will get you going again if dealing with a completely dead sensor. However, pcm has issues with scaling. Most likely to do with different tolerances in voltage variability under different loads. Most likely will end up with total enrichment issues. Possibly tripping MIL for fuel trim codes, either rich or lean depending on which way internal resistance is off. Will handle your MAF circuit codes, as for instance when your dealing with a dead MAF, but for overall confidence of having no drivability concerns, it's absolutely lacking in my experience. So, take my review as you will. It will serve some issues one may have as an extremely cheap replacement part when needing something like the MIL to go off long enough to pass an emissions inspection, baring you can get through readiness monitors drive cycle without tripping a fuel trim code. ... show more
