There is a learning curb and if you mess up good luck. The kit is great and the lamp is huge and great. I'm glad I bought an electric nail file because it's impossible to fix if you cure a thick layer without one. I can't wait for my next try in a few weeks.

So I’m a licensed cosmetologist that is too cheap to pay others for my nails! At first, I couldn’t get them to look right but don’t give up! You have to play with the amount you squirt onto the nail molds, clean off the excess around cuticle and then dry in UV lamp. These nails are sturdy. UV lamp cures them well, must dry two times both sides of nail. So many color options & I am impressed by the low price for the amount you get in this kit! The kit comes with fully equipped with everything needed to complete multiple full sets. The uv light is only 48w so must cure a little longer depending on thickness but works very well. The poly gel is very sticky and hard to manipulate but get the job done once you get used to it. I am not too fond of the dual forms because of the shape but that is personal preference. They were over all very easy to put on, however they did not last as long as I though, some only lasted one day, some wouldn't come off, I feel it may have been user error, but it would be nice if it came with a book of tips and tricks. The uv light is amazing though! And the color changing nails are pretty sweet ... show more

Once you understand and kind of get the hang of this product, it’s really easy to use. The gel drys nice and hard it’s comparable to acrylic but when the nails pop off it doesn’t leave like a residue and if you do it properly your nail won’t lift up at all or removes layer of your natural nail. The only complaint that I have is that some of the darker colors even when cured up to five minutes don’t show up. it’s like they are temperature changing but that’s not advertised. specifically 007 and P008 for me. ... show more
