I've been pretty loyal to a couple brands and was nervous to try something new. Let me tell you that this product holds up. I put these through the ringer today and was fully expecting for more than one to break off because they normally would have with the other brands I use. They didn't budge, chip, crack, or otherwise have any negative effects from today's use. To clarify, today I built furniture, painted said furniture, scraped the driveway in that process a few times, removed and put back on cushion covers which involved pulling the strings for the buttons through the entire cushion, and moving heavy furniture. While I'm always careful because I have brittle nails to start with, I definitely was prepared to end my day redoing a few because this activity just causes damage to nails naturally especially for someone as clumsy as I am. On top of the physical endurance, I'm so happy to say that the paint didn't even stain them! I've had that problem many times before with various things but this formula seems impenetrable. Speaking of, the formula was super easy to work with which I was nervous about this aspect. It was thick enough to really form what I was wanting and I could imagine shapes could be made with it, but I just needed to be able to build on uneven nails. The forms could be better. Some seemed quite flimsy, they didn't stay in their designated sections during shipping, and there wasn't a size small enough for my pinky so I used one from another set. Even though they were flimsy, these forms actually shaped better to my fingers than other sets I have so I was pleasantly surprised. They also feel nonexistent/natural on my nails. This formula is lightweight and, when adhered properly, feels like it's just my nail. Other formulas feel like they are stuck on top, which they are. But this feels like it's just part of my natural nail. The texture isn't like that of course, but the sensation of the extension feels seamless. The slip solution is also worth mentioning. It feels very watery whereas others I've used feel oily. I definitely prefer this one in that aspect. My hands and nails feel cleaner working with it and my brushes are more compatible with it. I have had this set on for a week now and have had no lifting, chipping, or noticeable damage or wear. I type at my job, do normal daily activities, shower, do dishes, even bathed my dog and they stayed fully adhered. I normally expect slight lifting after a week even with the same prep with other brands. This is more than worth the buy. I think it's very reasonably priced anywah but it performs top notch. ... show more

ummm ok, so I'm pretty good at doing stuff myself rather than spending tons of money to someone else. I've put on fake nails before, with arthritis, it's hard at times, I saw this on tik tok and youtube and thought how hard could this be? Well, I'll tell ya, one the primer and other tubes to use you Have to keep a cup of very warm to hot water or constantly get a hot towel to put tubes in so you can keep using it. Otherwise, it gets back to being hard. 2 tubes I found pretty empty and thought wow that was crappy. I've tried a set and after they just came off. They're not very sturdy to stay on fingers. I even had my nail gal look at the set and then the nails I did, she said I did a good job but the product seemed to be really old, which was prob why the tubes were always drying up and hard to keep soft. maybe when I have the money ill try again but dont have the money to spend on it.. ... show more

I LOVE THIS PRODUCT! This was my first ever set and I’m such a perfectionist so it did take me two hours lol! Some of the nails don’t fit mine completely so I did have to file some of the edges down on the clear nails you get. I SUGGEST HAVING A NAIL DRILL BECAUSE THE BACK SIDE TENDS TO GET A LITTLE THICK. it is a little challenging to smooth out the back while trying to hold a nail in place. Maybe my product was a tiny bit thinner than normal because Wisconsin has been HOT recently ... show more

I got this because I wanted the ombre look and a way to strengthen my nails while they grow out. I just tried a week of full coverage nail tips and now I'm trying these. They are definitely thicker but I'm not convinced they are as strong. They felt like crayons until they got the top coat. I added a layer of builder gel on top because I'm not gentle on nails. We will see how they hold up. A couple notes about this kit- The slip solution is a very small bottle. It evaporates and I ended up using half the bottle in the first use. The nail molds are big even for me. I was surprised to see the smallest nail was too big for my pinky. The directions say to spread the gel out before putting it on your nail. That was a mess and I found it much easier to create a large bead at the top and roll it down the nail in the mold. I don't use acrylic but I really like this as a way to change up your nail shape without tips and tons of filing. ... show more

The polygel formula is amazing. I have been doing my own polygel nails for almost 3 years and this is serious the best formula I have worked with. The colors are beautiful. I gave it 4 stars because I can't get the top coat to fully cure. No matter what light or how long I try.

So just to be clear I am a super beginner as in I’m lucky I can sometimes paint my own nails. The kit came well packaged and nothing had leaked and came with everything. The main reason why I gave this a 4 and not a 5 star is several reasons. 1.) the red and green colors are very crayola basic 8 primary red and green. The orange is like if you tried to explain to someone who had never seen the color orange what the color was and had them make it. It’s horrible! The other reason is the tubes of poly gel are not very big but I guess that’s standard for this medium. Just be warned there is a big learning curve involved with this and I definitely recommend watching YouTube videos on proper application and what to do when you goof it as you will definitely will goof it up. A little tip though start out with a small amount and dab it and then drag it. Once it cures pop the form off then add a small pearl of the gel near the bed of the nail and use the same technique. Much easier that way and little less messy. Please don’t mind how jacked up my nails look in the picture as it was the first time I did them. All in all not a bad product and this should help my thin nails now that a drimmle isn’t being used in them. ... show more
