For the last few years, I have used Olaplex oil for my hair until my hairdresser gifted me a bottle of this. I wasn’t very sure how it would work on my hair because it’s much heavier than Olaplex, but I decided to give it a try. I have thick, wavy hair that has some area damage from styling tools and processing. I started with just a small amount on the ends. First thing I noticed was the amazing smell! My hair absorbed the oil easily, And even though the oil was thicker than the oil Olaplex, it did not weigh my hair down. This leaves my hair smooth and soft and smelling great. The combo with the hair oil and body lotion is a great value! You get two products for the price of one. I love the lotion too. It leaves my skin, soft and smelling great, but the scent is not overbearing. I still use Olaplex product for other hair related issues, but for me, this hair oil is the best I’ve ever used!

First of all this is a great deal. The hair oil has been my son and my favorite moisturizer for our hair. He has dry curls and he usually use it after shower with wet hair. My hair is very straight and thin but when I use the oil on my hair it’s noticeably less dry and healthier. We love the fragrance of the oil so we all share the hand lotion. It’s a natural neutral scent that we all enjoy!!

Most products in this brand are expensive and if you want the entire line, you have to practically be a millionaire. But I came across this two piece item and decided to try it. The lotion has quite a bit in it but it’s not a very large bottle either. The hair serum is in an average size bottle but you don’t use a whole lot of either one for it to go a ways. The smell is outstanding and fresh. It goes on smooth and dries fast on the skin. You don’t have that wet feeling or residue after applying. The serum is light and has an intoxicating smell that adds to the cleanliness of freshly shampooed hair. It’s a gloss and a repair serum in one. Tames tangles too! All in all a great product line but so wish it could be made more affordable. That is the only downfall.

I love the subtle earthy scent of the Moroccan hair oil and how silky it makes my hair and hands feel....the biggest plus is no more FRIZZY HAIR when I let it do its natural thing and be curly and when I decide to straighten my hair it's silky soft all the way to the ends. My hairstylist recommended this product and I'm not sure how I lived without it for so long. The lotion was new to me but I couldn't pass up this deal the lotion was basically free. Who doesn't love free quality products?! At first, I thought it was too runny but after giving it a chance I can honestly say I've changed my mind and I'm finding that I like it quite a bit more than I thought I was going to, it keeps my skin silky smooth and moisturized all day. Definitely adding this to my subscriptions to get an added discount, which is always a plus.

I’ve been a fan of Moroccanoil for a long time. I love how that it tames frizz without adding weight. And the lotion smells just as good as the hair products!

I'll start off with my negative experience. I ordered a gift set since it was the same price as the hair oil. I knew I liked the lotion bc I was giving some the last time I ordered Moroccanoil through the company. My 1st order arrived and the top had twisted off some and lotion was spilled down the bottle. I figured okay I'll order it again. *The photos are what I got when I opened the 2nd time.* I received a notification that they put my order in the mailbox. I knew something was wrong bc the box won't fit in my mailbox. I called my neighbor and asked him to get the package. He called me back and said it was laying in the street! He was surprised someone didn't run it over. It also was in an envelope, this time instead of a box like the first order. When I opened the envelope the box was in crappy condition. The guard that goes around the top of the pump was laying in the box. The top had unscrewed and lotion spilled down the side and into the box, it was a lot of product. Considering this is a gift set if I sent this as a gift and it came in this condition I would be extremely disappointed. I think the brand could design the packing for the lotion better. The oil comes with a cap and the pump is separate. Since I had two packages to compare, Amazon was definitely responsible for the unacceptable way this one arrived. Now for the positive. This stuff works miracles. My hair is dyed so it's dry and damaged. This stuff helps hydrate my hair and makes it shiny. I have tried a lot of hair oil at different price points. The only one that compares to this is the Olaplex #7 bond oil. Unfortunately I can't use this product bc my hair is too thick. I need a heavier oil. This is where this product comes in. It's not so heavy that it weighs down my hair. It leaves it feeling silky and smooth. If you have thinner hair I recommend the Moroccan oil lite, which is also available in the gift set The only thing I hate about this product is the price tag. A bottle lasts awhile and it's definitely worth the investment. My advice would be order the gift set since it's the same price. Don't send it as a gift bc unless they change the packing your going to have lotion spilled in the box.

I purchased the combo pack because I absolutely love the hair oil, which did not let me down, and the lotion was basically free. The oil smells amazing and makes my hair soft. The lotion is the reason I'm giving it 4 stars. It was just neutral, leaning towards bad. It does not have the same amazing scent as the oil and does absolutely nothing to moisturize my skin. I gave it away to the first teen I saw. The oil is completely worth the money, the lotion is not worth the space in my bathroom.
