    • A miracle for my hair
My entire adult life, I’ve had oily skin and an oily scalp, and I could get away with washing my hair every other day only if I used a ton of dry shampoo powder, which left my scalp itchy. Occasionally I was able to stretch that to a third day, but my hair looked greasy and felt gross. I started using the Moroccanoil treatment about two weeks ago as a pre-wash treatment, and it has been transformative. This week, I used the treatment on a Tuesday morning before shampooing, and I didn’t have to wash again until Saturday morning (using a modest amount of dry shampoo on days 3 and 4). This has NEVER happened to me before. I am amazed at the difference this treatment has made. Unfortunately, it is very expensive. I’ve used 3/4 of the bottle in just a couple of weeks, and I don’t think I can justify spending $80/month on this product. Which makes me sad, because it’s incredible. ... show more

This isn’t a miracle product that will change you’re whole hair routine, but it does help. I have very oily hair, and my hair is still oily.. but if I use this product as directed and style my hair with product as usual, I have noticed it is slightly less oily than normal when I go to wash again (2 days later) ... show more

In all fairness, when I ordered this product I thought it was dry scalp no more and only recently re read the bottle and realized that it was oil no more, I discontinued using this product within a few days of receipt due to the extremely UNPLEASANT ODOR. I use all Moroccanoil products including their shampoo and conditioner and feel they are the BEST on the market, over all other high end high quality lines but I just could not get past the smell that was present all through out the day up until the next shampooing. ... show more

    • Hurt my scalp
I gave it 2 stars because it actually does work. I have really fine hair that gets oily really easily and this let me go 2 days without washing instead of a strict 24 hours. But it made my scalp incredibly itchy and a little painful and gave me dandruff for the first time in my life. I may have just had a bad reaction, but it wasn’t worth the side effects, especially for the money. Update - it took WEEKS for the itchiness and dandruff to go away, even though I only used the oil 2-3 times. Definitely would not recommend. ... show more
