I went ahead and committed to this shampoo -- I'd been buying the smaller quantity for a few years then finally made the leap and shelled out for the big guy and its partner conditioner, too. I don't need to protect or care for coloring - I don't color my hair anymore - but I still prefer this shampoo and the conditioner that goes with it over the other types of shampoo and conditioner this brand offers, as they wash out much more easily. I love the smell of this shampoo and conditioner, which I believe is the same as their other varieties of shampoos and conditioners. It is a very mild smell that just smells like "clean" to me, a natural smell. Likewise the feel of my hair at every stage -- lathering, rinsing, and drying -- my hair just feels clean, neither too squeaky/stripped, nor oily/over-conditioned. A lovely product! ... show more
