I always wanted to be like the cool kids and have glowing lights behind my computer desk and monitors. I saw these so I thought I'd try them and they're fantastic. They're insanely easy to put on and use right out the gate. I love that the app is simple to use and you can connect multiples to it to have them do the same thing or you can run them separate. I haven't tested the music feature yet but I am curious to see how it'll work. I would say my only complaint is that the colors aren't entirely accurate to the app. I wanted them to be a nice pink color and the closest I could get is more of a purple. Not a big deal but the app shows it as a more vibrant deep pink. Either way, I highly recommend these!

These LED's aren't the fanciest, or the most feature rich. These are pretty much some of the most basic LED strips you can get. However, for only $8, I'd say they're well worth their price tag. It plugs in via USB and mainly uses a remote to change the color. There are also some in-line controls, so you can change the lighting mode without the remote. There's even a music sync mode to sync the lighting to audio. In terms of the LED's themselves, it isn't me most dense array of LED's you'll find. There's only 1 LED every 2 inches or so. But once it was stuck to the back of my TV (as it's intended purpose), I didn't notice at all. This strip is not RGBIC compatible, meaning you can only set one color at once (no gradients, half-tones, etc.). For example, you can't set half of the strip to green and half of the strip to blue. You can only do one or the other. Overall, for only $8, these LED's are well worth it. If you just want a cheap way to add some ambient lighting to the back of your TV (or some other object), then this is a good choice.

I'm not stoked about the trend of all these cheap LED strips that require you to install an app just to cycle through all the basic colors. The remote on this has only 6 preset colors and the rest of the buttons are a confusing mess of flashing modes and audio-based modes that I'm never going to use. People buy these lights for a monitor / TV backlight, they want to set a color and forget it, and this complicates that. Luckily one of the presets is a yellowy-orange that I typically use for monitor backlights. The LED elements are spaced pretty far apart so overall this strip isn't the brightest, but it's good enough. Length is good for the indicated screen size of 32-43" ish, but you obviously can use this for shorter and double-wrap it. Adhesive seems good enough if you make sure to clean the surface beforehand, although the end where the USB cord connects with the LED strip tends to come unstuck so I added some tape right there.

These lights are super easy to use. You just plug them into a usb adapter or even a USB battery pack. The remote has several options for either static lights, basic fades/flash, and music sync. The cable also has a controller on it which allows you to power on off, change the mode, and turn on music sync without the IR remote. This is super useful because you might lose track of the remote or the battery could die, but you'll still be able to control the lights with the physical switches on the cable. My favorite is the sync to music. I do wish the microphone was a little bit stronger, or more sensitive, because you do kind of have to have the music pretty loud to get good sound reactivity. But, when you've got it going, it looks super cool.

First of all let me say, what a great price point for this item. I’m actually quite surprised it does not cost more. This LED strip plugs right into a USB slot in the back of your tv. There are 3 buttons on the strip itself to power on, have a steady light and change through different light modes. It also comes with a remote that already has a battery installed. I love all the light modes/sequences. It’s quite bright and will give a nice touch to your tv. I ordered this for a 50 inch not realizing it was for a smaller tv but that was my mistake. I will still try to make it work but if not will put it on my daughter’s 43 inch instead. At this price point with these features you cannot go wrong.

Very easy to install and maneuver. It takes a little doing and undoing to move around to the right place...but the backlighting on the TV is nice. The remote and music functions work quite well. I've used similar lights, but the pliability of these is much better. The multiple lighting functions will only work if used with the app as far as I can tell, so you're only going to have the ability to use the main colors. These are a great value and work great as well!

I got these to wrap around my kitchen island counter. For the cost these are a good value. The strip is very long; plenty long enough for both sides of the island. It makes a lovely nightlight for the kitchen. The remote is a little confusing, but I don't need too many settings for my use. Even though I don't have this plugged in to my TV, if I set the music settings, the lights blink according to whatever is on my TV, so that's pretty cool. If you want just an inexpensive set of lights for accent color, this is a nice set.

So far so good. Sticking like it should. I have other strip lights that don't stick. I mostly wanted a quick and inexpensive way to light up my doll house nook. The white mode is not a true white but I think it works for my need. It could be because it's reflecting off of the gray wall but I think it's still bluish anyway. Other colors are bright but I don't need those. Change colors or on/off on cord or with clicker.
