  • Warm to 0 degrees
Color: deep gray Size: Medium
These gloves are the best of three that I ordered to try this winter. First, none we able to keep hands "warm" in less than 0 degree temps. These gloves potentially did the best to keep them from going numb while driving, taking trash to the curb, short outdoor tasks. Our temps have been below 0 degrees for a good stretch the winter, so I was hopeful for something to help while I shoveled and did snow blowing. That search continues. With all due respect, they are only advertised to -10. However, I didn't feel they insulated my hands well enough if I needed to be out in the elements for longer then perhaps 10-12 minutes. They are stylish (sort of) better than the heavy duty construction style gloves that are out there, but that may be the give-and-take: warmth for style. I am female, large hands (size 10 ring finger, 7-1/2" wrist) and these MEDIUM fit without being too tight. They were a bit long in the fingers, but I prefer that over too short and cramped. I would say follow the size guide. I do like them for driving, they have very good grippers, and I'm not worried about texting so no "touch screen finger" doesn't affect me as far as performance. Overall, these are good gloves that IMO perform as marketed for a fair price and better than the old name brand women's driving gloves that we wore for years because we really didn't have any other choices. ... show more

  • Keep hands warm in up to 32F degree weather!
Color: black Size: Large
These are better than any other gloves I've had, although these are my first winter bike gloves. They certainly keep the hands warm - when the air is no colder than freezing temp. Once it gets below freezing, the fingertips will begin to go numb with cold. So, I won't be seeking warmer gloves - I'm not sure they exist - specifically when it comes to wind blowing against your fingers in cold weather - it's hard to see how a glove can protect you from that effectively in sub-zero weather. Other than that, they are easy to put on and take off. The touchscreen function works great. True to size. Comfy. Nice and soft on the inside, with excellent lining. Great gloves overall - I'll just ride when it's not sub-zero out there :) ... show more

  • Just dont get them wet and you're good
Color: black Size: Large
I usually only come back to review a product i love or i buy again, this time im getting a spare/new pair of these gloves after 2 winters For context im a large size for these gloves and i work outside as a surveyor doing some staking and brush cutting, so moderate use but not heaby duty. Durability: as i said, 2 wisconsin winters. Only thing ive noticed is recently dome fraying on the touchscreen fingertip pads, seem to still hold though. Touchscreen compatibility: perfect, new devices, old devices, only issue ive ever had was an old ipad and i blame the ipad for that one Warmth: great for their size. In WI it can often get around or below 0F and these gloves seem to do just fine for extended peripds outside. If i feel the need i can pop a hand warmer (chemical or electric) into these and they fit nice and snug. Wind resistance is good, not perfect as its fabric and not nylon, though it dries out fast because of that too. Dexterity: good. Good enough to comfortably use a touchscreen and jandle equipment without getting sausage fingers. Water resistance: none at all. Its 100% fabric so its a sponge for water and melting snow, try to keep them dry. If you do get them wet they breathe well so they dry fast too. All in all its a great pair for the lrice and ill likely buy another pair if my first ever go out on me. ... show more

  • Excellent Gloves
Color: deep gray Size: Large
The quality of the gloves is amazing! The cuffs are nice and snug, no wind will get thru so the lining is nice and warm. The palms of the gloves are slightly "tacky" (neoprene?) so you get a fantastic grip on everything. The sizing chart ran a little small for him so I took the large (I wear medium women's size) and I ordered one size up to XL for him and they were perfect! he loves them! ... show more

  • warm without bulk
Color: black Size: Large
Very nice gloves! Warmer than expected, even in 20F deg weather. Not bulky at all. Very flexible. My hand measures 9" around the knuckles and large fits perfectly. The fingers are not too long or short. The gloves are neither tight or loose. Very comfortable to wear. The cuff is not too long or bulky either. It tucks nicely under my jacket sleeve, stopping the wind and trapping the warmth without being too tight. My truck is parked outside, so these are great first thing in the morning for clearing snow or scraping the windshield. The gloves have a very good grip, but could use some silicone grip on the thumb below the touch screen pad, like the other fingers and palm. The grip is still great as it is but could be better. They're flexible enough to handle keys to unlock the door, turn the ignition switch and shift. They grip the steering wheel well and keep my hands warm until the truck warms up. The gloves breath well but still block the wind. They're not waterproof but still repel light snow. They're great when out for a walk too. The touch screen pads work amazingly well. They're not a heavy duty work glove, though good enough for driving, walking and shoveling snow, which is why I bought them. I'm very pleased to have found these gloves. ... show more

  • Great Touchscreen and Grip, But Zero Warmth at +10°F
Color: deep gray Size: Large
I really wanted to love these gloves because the 3M Thinsulate marketing is everywhere on this listing and they promise warmth down to negative ten degrees. The product photos even show someone on a snowmobile wearing these, which is almost laughable once you actually test them. Spoiler alert: that did not happen for me. First, let's talk sizing because that was my first clue something was off. I ordered a medium and they felt way too tight, so I sized up to large thinking that would solve it. They're better, but still snug. Here's the kicker—when you lay the medium on top of the large, you can barely tell the difference between them. The sizing is just inconsistent, and they definitely run smaller than your average glove despite the note in the listing warning you about this. But the real disappointment is the warmth, or lack thereof. Today it was ten degrees Fahrenheit and I took my dog to the dog park. My hands were cold the entire time I was wearing these. I actually couldn't believe it, so I took the gloves off for a bit to compare, and honestly I didn't feel that much colder without them. That's not a good sign when your winter gloves supposedly rated for negative ten degrees barely perform better than bare hands at positive ten. And if you add cold wind from driving or snowmobiling like they show in the photos, it would be absolutely unbearable. I even did another test where I put one of these on one hand and an old non-insulated glove I still have around on the other hand, and I really couldn't feel a meaningful difference in warmth between them. These basically feel like slightly thicker work gloves, not the heavily insulated winter gloves they're marketed as. Either 3M Thinsulate isn't actually that great of an insulation product, or it's not being used properly here, but either way the warmth just isn't there. Now, what they do well is dexterity and touchscreen function. The touchscreen feature works reliably on my phone, and I can actually do fiddly tasks like picking up dog poop with a baggie and getting that baggie out of the dispenser without fumbling around. With most winter gloves that's impossible, so if you need something for tasks requiring precision, these deliver on that front. They seem well made and I haven't had any quality or durability issues in the time I've had them, but I'm still within my thirty day return window and seriously considering using it. When gloves fail at their primary job of keeping your hands warm, everything else becomes kind of irrelevant. ... show more

  • Works with touch screen and warm.
Color: black Size: Large
Works great with cell phones. Galaxy S4 ultra. I used in mid 20 degree weather to 40's and it kept my hands warm. I would purchase again if needed. The fit was spot on for me. Not to tight or loose. It sits in my car right now with stuff sometimes dumped all over it. It's held up fine so far. Right now I'm doing gig driving for VEHO since of been laid off my IT job so it gets a good amount of use. ... show more

  • Very happy.
Color: black Size: Large
Gloves are comfortable and warm. Though while driving, the grip is almost too good. I tend to let the steering wheel slide back into place after a turn, but the grip on these gloves is so good that I have to turn the wheel back manually. They do run a bit small, so I'm glad that I ordered a size larger than normal. Cleaning my car off, they keep my hands warm and dry in the snow. ... show more
