I got the runner in black and the pattern is gorgeous. Often, items don't look as dark or rich in person as they do in the online pictures, but I'm happy to say this rug looks just as elegant and vivid in real life. The material is super soft, almost satiny smooth and the non-slip backing is a great addition. Important to note, this rug is VERY thin at just 0.2 inches. I'm happy about that as I'm running it under some sliding doors and the low pile keeps it from getting bunched up, but be aware that it actually folds almost like a thick piece of material, so you may want to rethink it if you're looking for a rug for a high traffic area... this one may wear through pretty fast. The runner folds easily enough to actually fit in the washing machine, but the larger full size rugs might need a front loading, heavy duty washer to fully fit inside.

This is such a lovely rug with a whimsical cottagecore design. The rug is very soft to the touch and feels lovely on bare feet. It is not a PLUSH rug however (washable rugs are intentionally thin so you can fit them in the washer), so you'll want to get a nice thick pad if you need the cushioning. I am not using a rug pad and it's perfect for my needs, but if you prefer a thicker rug, you'll need the pad.
