This is a very cool star. I love how this looks and the even more beautiful meaning behind it. Assembling it took a little bit of time but not to bad. This has a plug on the end so if your using it as a topper for a tree then be prepared to plug it in somewhere on too if the tree unless you have an extension cord. So a pre-lit tree may not be a good option if you don’t have a plug at the top. Also, it does not go on a branch as you would with other tree toppers. It sort of sits on top of the branches, so may not be centered on the top of your tree unless you make the top of your tree flat to sit it on top. ... show more

Directions aren't great, but it's really not that bad to put together once you figure it out. My biggest issue is that I've had this for only a week and the LED bulb that came with it has already died, and now I'm stuck trying to figure out getting the correctly sized replacement bulb.

    • Looks nice when it's together
Quite difficult to assemble and keep together during the installation process. The little notches that go in the slots are not an exact fit and when you try to put any pressure to make it all come together other parts pop out. But as long as you're gentle with it once you have it together finally it stays together for the most part. We didn't move anything after we had it fully assembled and installed and when we went to take it down three of the pieces that pop loose on the back side that you couldn't see and we're just hanging. It's just flimsy plastic sheets they get folded into a form to look like a star. Again from 5 ft away it looks awesome.. ... show more

I wasn’t sure based on the mixed reviews after a few years I just decided to purchase. Its assembly is not for the faint of heart, it takes a while, lots of pieces, directions are not that great but you can figure it out. Once built it’s beautiful and exactly what I wanted

First of all, you need an advanced degree to put this thing together. They make Ikea look like a piece of cake. Once you figure it out be ready to have pieces missing (see picture). And then you have to figure out how to return it since deconstructing it would probably break it. No access to customer support. Overall just terrible. ... show more
