The instructions say to let it charge to 100% before using it the first time (so until the 4 dots on the side light up), but mine won't charge beyond 2. This is the lightest external battery I could find. I use it for backpacking and other endeavors where there is no electricity. It holds a bit more than 2 full charges for my iPhone XS, which is pretty good for such a lightweight battery. The media could not be loaded. I purchased this at the end of January to keep around in case of emergencies. I only had to use it a few times, so it wasn’t until recently that I had to recharge the battery. NO MATTER WHAT this thing will not get to even 50% charged. I can see it’s charging because the lights are blinking, but only the first light is solid and it’s consistently working on getting the second light solid (there’s 4 total). This is just so sad like how is it supposed to charge my phone when it can’t even charge itself. I kept it on the charger for 15 HOURS yesterday monitoring it and NO CHANGE! It sucks becuase my return window is closed so it’s not like I can even get my money back. Either steer clear or test it out within the first couple of days so you can send it back if yours works the same as mine. ... show more

Traveling for ten days, on the run. Great to recharge my older iPhone that doesn’t keep a charge well. Only odd thing is that you have to switch ports to charge. If you charge one phone, you have to switch ports for the second phone.

For the price, this is not worth it. I purchased this because ratings said it had an elongated battery life which is essential for my job. My experience is that this item is a drug store 10-20 dollar purchase for what i received. It takes hours to charge and i only get an hour or two out of it until it’s down to 1 bar or dead. ... show more
