These look great! The color isn't straight up black when you look at them closely. They're more like a matte almost-black charcoal color, but they still look great. I actually like it better than a complete black color. I didn't use the mounting plates it came with because I'm the only one who uses my sofa (and I barely use it to begin with so I'm not worried about anything happening), but even so they just screwed right in and are very sturdy. I do wish they included some kind of quick guide on how to use the mounting plates, though, just in case. ... show more

The legs are plastic, but I needed something taller than the legs that came with the item. The couch that they were installed on was ok until someone rough housed on the couch and the leg I guess was a little off center, and the post just snapped. good thing I bought a second set just in case.

I thought I may need a new sofa because I bent one of the 4 legs by dragging it across my driveway in front of my truck. I didn't see it, I messed up one leg and scratched the other three. I ordered this after some research and it saved me from having to buy a new single seat sofa. They are a bit higher than the original legs but I ended up loving the new height adjustment. I would buy these again or recommend them unless you want wood. My sofa has a removable cover that pretty much covers the legs so, I don't care if it's Plastic or wood as long as they are sturdy and they totally are. ... show more

They are a little crooked looking and when they are tight there is still maybe an inch gap between the leg and whatever you are attaching them to. Looks weird. With them crooked looking I'm afraid they aren't going to be sturdy so I dont sit long.

The legs come with a mounting bracket which was perfect! The existing threads were larger than the thread on these so the included plates were required. So far so good, couch is lifted and we’re able to store stuff under it.

I bought these and didn’t even receive hardware so I just kinda placed them under my couch. They are super sturdy other then that. Also came almost a week apart from each other because I have two couches.
