Replacing my screen with the proper tools (Not the tools included) was a tedious process, but well worth it. Be EXTREMELY careful with the ribbons and screw placement and you shouldn't have any trouble. There's a great article on iFixit's website that will walk you through 90% of the process with detailed pictures. It ends before disassembling the earpiece and camera, but if you're already that deep into it you shouldn't have any trouble. I propped it up in front of my work area pre-loaded on our family's tablet and had no trouble with removal or re-assembly. Screen quality is overall much better than I anticipated. I don't know if it was 2 weeks of a busted screen that skewed my perspective, but the screen almost looks crisper than my original screen. The one downside is there is a noticeable color distortion from any angle other than straight on. It doesn't really bother me, but I know that may be a large negative for other customers. ... show more

I actually break my phone screen quite often and replace it. It never seems like too much of an issue and this is the main reason I have yet to upgrade. Most of the time I get sub optimal quality that just barely makes the screen usable but it never bothers me because I don’t really use my phone other than a few internet searches, phone calls, and texts. This screen, though, is literally the best quality that I have gotten out of the numerous different brands. The resolution is amazing and the crispness of the screen is very noticeable. This is the first of the screens I've used from PassionTR with any issues. The color and brightness are fine but a small area about .75" X .5" has issues with color. 3 small areas that look like they have been pressed damaging the color output in those spots. Two are dark orange and one is a brighter blue. For a DIY personal use screen it's fine but for professionals or semi-professionals, I would say it's not the best. ... show more
