I initially bought this monitor in February of 2020. I was looking for something with two cameras, non-WiFi, sound, and the ability to talk through the cameras. This one fit the bill and had great reviews. The instructions were clear and it only took a few minutes to set up and pair the cameras. The picture is reasonably clear, night vision works well, and I like that you can view both cameras at the same time. I've seen some people complain that you can only hear one room at a time, and that's true, but it doesn't bother me. I really only needed to hear the baby and have eyes on my older child. I used it outside quite a bit as well, when the baby was down for naps and my oldest wanted to go outside and play. The range is okay; could be better but worked just fine for my needs. A week or two ago, my monitor stopped functioning. I could still hear sounds but the picture itself stopped working, and I couldn't see anything from either camera. I contacted Moonybaby via email, and they immediately sent me a replacement. It took a total of three days from the time I emailed them with my problem until my new monitor arrived. I also received a new user manual and charging cord with the new monitor. It turned on and paired with my cameras within minutes. Overall, I couldn't be happier with these monitors. My husband and I were really unhappy with our current baby moitor and with another baby on the way I had been on the hunt for a new one. I had a few specific things in mind when looking for a new monitor, I didn’t want it to run off WiFi and I wanted it to have a double camera and monitor with a split screen feature. Our current monitor ran off WiFi and an app which meant it was always using one of our electronics. This meant our iPad turned into our baby monitor. After researching through endless amounts of baby cameras, we decided the MoonyBaby split 50 monitor met all our needs. I wanted to give this a fair review, so we’ve been using the monitor every day, several times a day for a little over two weeks. I can say that both My husband and I are extremely happy with this hassle free monitor. From installation (plug & play) to the user friendly monitor, it couldn’t be easier to use. He says its “husband friendly” and that he “loves it”. Which is a lot considering he seems to have a gripe about the mechanical engineering of every baby product. We love that we can see and hear both boys as they nap (or when our older child sneaks off to play with the Roomba). The video quality is great and have never had an issue with it cutting in and out, which was a big problem with our last monitor. I love that the temperature of their rooms is displayed on the screen as well. The range has proven to be far as I was able to go out to the chicken coop (300 ft away) without it disconnecting or having a lag. Now, the bad, which hasn’t been a deal breaker at all for us but I figured I should mention. For us, the battery can last about 12 hours (we run the volume high, which will affect battery time).The monitor comes with one changer, which we keep in our bedroom. It uses a micro-USB charger, (I appreciate them using a standard port and not something weird) which I think mostly everyone has an extra laying around. We plugged an extra cord we had into our living room and haven’t had an issue with the battery.     • AMAZING CUSTOMER SERVICE!
I usually don’t write reviews, but I am so impressed by the customer service that I just have to share! I purchased this monitor a few months back after having my third child. I previously owned a summer infant single monitor and needed a monitor with two cameras for my toddler and the baby so decided to purchase this one. Compared to the summer infant, the battery life on this monitor is much longer. My old monitor kept dying on me after an hour but this one lasts all day. I love that there is a power save mode on this monitor where you can have the screen and sound turned off but as soon as the baby makes noise, it instantly turns on. Another fun feature on this monitor that I didn’t realize until I bought it; the camera plays music. So if your baby starts to cry when down for a nap, you can turn music on through the monitor that they will hear from the camera in their room. It’s an awesome feature that has helped me calm my kids down without going into the room! As for the customer service, I am very impressed! I came to amazon this past week looking for a replacement monitor. I was cleaning my kitchen, and dropped the monitor face down on the tile. The screen was completely ruined and although I could still use it for sound, there was no longer a picture. When looking for the replacement monitor, it said that it was out of stock and not sure when it would be back. I contacted moonybaby customer support to find out if there was another way I could order a replacement monitor or if it would be in stock soon. I received an email within 24 hours From customer service telling me it wasn’t in stock in the amazon warehouse right now due to covid 19 and not sure when it would be restocked. I was then asked what was wrong with the monitor. I almost didn’t respond to the email because I asssumed they were only asking me what happened so that they could replace it if the monitor was defected. I decided to email back thanking customer service because the man was so polite and helpful, and mentioned how clumsy I am and that I dropped my monitor. He replied back again within hours that he would be happy to mail me a replacement monitor free of charge! I was so surprised and grateful that they were willing to replace my monitor after it broke due to my own fault! Amazing customer service and amazing monitor!! Highly recommend!! ... show more

I had this moonybaby monitor Split View for 2.5 years. It’s been great. Switched back an forth between 2 of my kids. Great range even brought it outside halfway down the street and works! Great battery life. Unfortunately, the charging port wouldn’t stay in and we couldn’t charge it suddenly! I reached out to costumer service and they were very prompt and helpful!
