Wasn't sure for the price how good this would be but I'm actually quite pleased. It was pretty easy to assemble and it fits the dog very well. Oddly when I had the base put together she came over and lay on it before I even had it finished so she knew it was for her. Time will tell how sturdy it is but it is mainly for use on my Lanai. It's a means to give her some protection when she happens to be out there and not be cold. A couple of her favorite blankets in there and she is set. This was a bit rough to put together certain poles were easily able to pull apart or fall apart, I think this was destroyed In the making or used due to the seams and scratches all over the cover. This dot bed/tent is perfect for out dogs. It has a big enough bed that our bigger dog fits on it, and the little dogs sometimes let her use it when they have not claimed it for themselves. It was pretty easy to assemble, but we have a non tent version for our big dog, so that may have played a part. It feels like it is good quality, and will hold up to dogs use. ... show more

I have 3 cats that insist on sleeping in the storage shed where I keep my extra straw bales. I do want to add, that they are allowed in the house. They just prefer to be outside. That having been said, even though they are protected from the elements, I wanted something for them to curl up in when it gets cold. I was surprised by how big it is considering it said small to medium. My lab could fit in it though I don't believe it would hold his weight. The material is heavier than I expected too. It seems like a lightweight insulated material. Putting it together was a bit of a chore though. The parts are marked on the bags and it came with instructions, but it was still a bit confusing. I do recommend using a small rubber malate to lightly tap the parts into place. I couldn't put enough pressure on them to get them to hold. I'm going to give it a couple of weeks to see how well it holds up, and if it seems to be doing okay, I'm going to purchase a second one. Very happy with this purchase. ... show more
