I have had my trimmer for 11 months now and it is still in great shape. It has last longer than anything I have purchased from Modell's. the only reason I did not give it 5 stars is because the 'grip' closure is starting to weaken. I try to wrap tighter but then it 'rides' up when I do cardio. I have worn it 6 days a week no less than an hour a day for the past 11 months and it has not torn or cracked anywhere so I will try to find something to re-establish the velcro grip. It does promote sweating and you won't know until you take it off. I am drenched after my 2 cardio classes. This was worth the purchase. ... show more

I received this product as a free trial due to the fact that I had previously purchased an earlier version. I am really impressed with the new style. I have only used it 1 week, but I have lost almost 2 pounds. I'm not sure if it's a coincidence or not but either way, I'll take it! The new closure is awesome, it grips very well, almost too well! It stays in place during all my high intensity workouts. I actually was not happy the first time I wore it, I didn't think I was even sweating...but when I took it off I was dripping sweat! I'm just used to my tank top getting soaked so it almost tricked me into working out harder because I thought I wasn't sweating! It is not cumbersome, even during ab work. It will fit a variety of sized people and it fits comfortably. The only reason I gave it 4 stars is because I still haven't figured out what to do with it after my workout, it's a long belt and it's dripping with sweat when I take it off, so I am not sure where to hang it to dry, other than my shower curtain, which looks goofy. ... show more
