I reviewed several zebra shades before going with this product because they had options in the color I wanted (dark gray), and in the correct size. The installation process couldn’t have been easier! After mounting a few brackets you basically just snap the entire shade roller into place followed by the front cover panel. It took maybe 15 minutes from start to finish using a small power drill. In terms of adhesion, I simply used the provided hardware and the fit is very tight and secure. The shades work wonderfully as far as filtering the light. I like that the clear panels between the dark ones aren’t completely transparent because it’s possible to filter some light and still have privacy. The only thing I’m not a fan of is the noise of the chain used to raise and lower the shades. It’s somewhat noisy but it’s to be expected for shades that aren’t motorized. Overall, I’m very happy with these and they have made the room feel more open and more spacious as an alternative to curtains. These are my first roller shades of this kind so I can’t make any comparisons as far as quality but this seem to be sturdy and resilient. I’ve had them for several months now and no signs of fading or deterioration. They’re very aesthetically-pleasing and compliment the look I was going for in the room. ... show more

Pleasantly surprised. Very very easy to install and slides up and down perfectly. Also fit me SLIDING DOOR!! Just in stall above on the molding, so you can open the door easily and measure from 1/2 the door molding that in the middle to the wall. Very happy, I am buying for two other windows.

Obviously the reviews that people share help us make choices on products that I am willing to try or feel that we should avoid. I had to write a review on this window treatment. It is absolutely perfect for our half bath and laundry room. The quality is great for what we spent and installation was simple. It allows for natural light to flow into the room but also provides privacy being a half bath. We are more than pleased with this affordable purchase. We purchased shutters from a very reputable window treatment company and love them, but spent a fortune.
