Silver Matte Excellence – Montana GOLD Spray Paint Delivers
Color: Silver Size: 13.5 Fl Oz (Pack of 1)
I recently purchased the Montana Cans Montana GOLD 400 ml Color in Silver Matte, and I am absolutely thrilled with the results. As someone who frequently engages in DIY projects and street art, finding a reliable and high-quality spray paint is crucial, and this product exceeded my expectations. The first thing that caught my attention was the vibrancy of the Silver Matte color. It has a rich, deep tone that adds a touch of sophistication to any surface. The matte finish is exactly what I was looking for—no unwanted shine, just a smooth and even texture that gives my projects a professional look. The spray nozzle on this can is a dream to work with. It provides a consistent and controlled spray, allowing for precise application. Whether I'm working on a large mural or a smaller art piece, the Montana GOLD spray paint gives me the control I need to achieve the desired effect. Durability is another standout feature. Once dried, the paint forms a tough and resilient layer that stands up well to the elements. I've used it on various surfaces, from wood to metal, and the adhesion has been fantastic. The color remains true, and there's minimal fading over time. The 400 ml size is generous, ensuring that I have enough paint to complete multiple projects without constantly running out. The canister design is also well thought out, with an easy-to-use cap that prevents clogging and ensures the paint is ready to go whenever inspiration strikes. Clean-up is a breeze, and I appreciate that the paint dries relatively quickly without sacrificing quality. It allows me to move on to the next step of my projects without unnecessary delays. In conclusion, the Montana Cans Montana GOLD 400 ml Color in Silver Matte is a top-tier spray paint that caters to both professionals and hobbyists alike. Its superb color, ease of use, and durability make it a must-have in any artist's toolkit. I highly recommend this product for anyone in search of a high-quality silver matte spray paint. Five stars well deserved! ... show more

Terrible. Leaks everywhere.
Color: Olive Green Size: 1 Count (Pack of 1)
This is THE worst spray paint I have ever used. Maybe it was just a defective can... but the second I started spraying it, the paint was spewing out of the can, pooling by the nozzle and dripping everywhere. This made a complete mess and I am so thankful I laid down a drop cloth for this project. The color was nice, and different than most olive green colors available on the market, But the price I paid and the wait it took to receive this was already unsatisfying to then use it and deal with the mess. NO thanks. I won't seek this brand out again. ... show more

Everything
I got this paint for a furniture project and I didn’t know what to expect. I LOVE that you can hold it so close to your project without creating goopy drips. Big box store bought spray paint will instruct you to hold it 12 - 18 inches away but it’s more like 18 - 20 unless you want that trashy chic 😅 I think this instructs you to hold it 6 inches away. It might not sound like a big deal but it really allows for more control and greater precision. Also- most store bought spray paint has an insane amount of plastic on that metal can. Usually in the form of a giant cap that usually fails by the end of the first use. What Montana does is something so simple yet so ingenious- they put a little plastic washer between the spray nozzle and the can so that the nozzle cannot be depressed at all. It’s easy to remove and replace too! This is great if you don’t use the entire can in one go. Another thing that I love is that Montana doesn’t make a mess of my hands so I can use it without gloves. And finally, the actual paint. It’s wonderful. Consistent color and even application. This stuff is a dream come true! Now I only wish that all montana paints were available on Amazon with 2 day prime free shipping. ... show more

Great Acrylic Spray Paint for People that Actually Read the Details(IT'S NOT GOLD COLOR)
Color: Aqua Size: 13.52 Fl Oz (Pack of 1)
Review Image by Andrew
So, for someone like me who isn't particularly talented as far as spray paint technique, but can read basic details like what color this paint is and that there's a plastic safety ring under the nozzle you need to remove, this has worked surprisingly well. Unfortunately the entire line of Montana Gold spray paint has a much lower overall rating than it deserves because people apparently wanted to spend more money on a higher grade of spray paint, but not read a basic description. This spray paint is much better in terms of level of control and even application versus krylon and rustoleum spray paints in my experience. On my test run, shown in the picture, of what I wanted to use this for ultimately it worked a lot better than I expected. I want to use it to paint a GC controller and first tested it on the back half of one that was a little beat up and in particular the front half was badly cracked so it was no longer a good shell for a GC controller. After the results I got I'll definitely be using on a better shell as it came out great. On the final product I plan on using some hardcore automotive gloss finish to make sure it stays on and not chipped, etc during normal use of the controller. This color (Aqua) is closest I've personally been able to find compared to the "Emerald Blue" official Gamecube controller that wasn't official imported from Japan when it comes to high quality acrylic spray paint(I wouldn't use anything other than acrylic for a controller since I feel other types would to much thickness). Just to note I did first sand down the original controller using 400 grit sandpaper (enough to at least take off the original protective finish) and used white primer before applying this spray paint. ... show more

Good-ish
Color: Gold Size: 11 Fl Oz (Pack of 1)
I saw another review saying it started spraying droplets that ruined their paint job, and I thought maybe it was just user error. I've used spray paint for work a number of times, and thought it would be fine. But alas, poor me, it did the same thing. I thought I did everything right - shake it long enough, hold it far enough away, clean the spout, etc. But as I went for my last layer of paint, the droplets came out and left little spatters on the item. Note, I was painting a small item, not a large lamp or anything bigger than a tissue box, so I wasn't using a lot of paint. It didn't completely ruin my item, but I was disappointed it wasn't as smooth a result as it was looking up to that point. So, I did like the appearance of the paint and how it worked on the plastic item, but user beware that there's a chance it'll spray droplets at some point. Maybe it's still user error, and there's always a chance that spray paint will spray some droplets, but just be aware and try to avoid the droplets. ... show more

Just a Great Paint
Color: Gld400-7060 - Gravel Size: 128 Fl Oz (Pack of 1)
I use this paint on art projects, on paper, and on canvas. I really like it. Expensive, but an excellent product. If you want quality for your art projects, this spray paint can be right for you. I also purchased dozens of spray nozzles, as the normal white button type will clog after a few uses. Nothing can be done to stop that, even soaking in soapy water. So, I would say, buy a box of spray buttons, highly affordable on Amazon. I like the product as an artist. By the way, I am not a graffiti artist, more or less a collage maker. ... show more

GARBAGE...NOT ELIGIBLE FOR REFUND/REPLACEMENT...TOTAL WASTE OF MONEY! DON'T BUY!!!
Review Image by Dawn Marquis
First, let me preface this review by letting EVERYONE reading this, I've used Montana brand spray paint MANY times. I have several cans in my spray paint collection and use it often! So I KNOW about the black ring that comes under the nozzle. Remove nozzle, remove ring, replace nozzle. That's how it's supposed to work....not this can! It's clearly defective as it will not stay on when I tried to replace it after removing the black ring. Paint sprays out from under the nozzle and goes everywhere!! My hands are currently slimer green!! Came to request a refund or replacement and find it's not eligible for EITHER!!! My bad...didn't read the description close enough....wouldn't recommend purchasing this paint from Amazon to my worst enemy...well maybe I would recommend it to them but everyone else steer clear from buy Montana spray paint from Amazon....it's way more expensive here...check out Blick Art for cheaper pricing and they have GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE!!! ... show more

Good for tactical gear
Color: Shock Brown Size: 1 Count (Pack of 1)
I've used this paint for tactical gear and 3D prints. Let it dry for two or three days once you're done painting and you're good to go.the colors are STELLAR. Coverage is out of this world compared to the super cheap options we're all used to buying at the hardware store. It does well with multiple coats. I layered multiple colors for a random custom dinosaur skin camo pattern and it worked great. I only waited maybe 10 minutes between coating the same spot and it worked fine. This might be my new favorite spray paint. ... show more
