  • Good for the money
Style Name: 1 inch
Are usually tend to buy more expensive mounts. I’m putting together a little 22 build and didn’t wanna drop a lot of money on a mount. Just figured I would take a shot on this one and was not disappointed. It looks great fit right on perfectly, and has held up well. It is very light and fit and finish were great. I can’t speak to how it would work on a larger caliber rifle. But for a 22 it seems good. ... show more

  • VERY Nice Mount- I Bought Two More After Installing My First One!
Style Name: 30 mm
This is a good-looking, well-made part that has become my 'go-to' AR scope mount. I don't expect to find a better deal or a higher quality part anytime soon. So far, I have put a 30mm on a friend's gun, and a 30mm and 34mm on my own. Outstanding value!

  • Fits great holds zero
Style Name: 30 mm
Excellent quality. Very light weight. Screws felt strong and it mounted easily. It should hold up to any weather. 7035 aluminum is very durable. I’d buy another if I need too

  • Airsoft Grade Product
Style Name: 1 inch
I purchased this 7075-cantilever 1in scope mount for a Sig Sauer 3x9x40mm 1in scope. The reviews stated that it would work for my LR308 application...upon receiving the item, I had several issues, which I'll mention in a bit. First, I would like to mention what I attracted me to the mount; It’s manufactured from 7075 series aluminum- like all major components of my rifle. I like the overall design and how the front of the mount actually rests on the picatinny rail. Excellent price point. Now for the issues. After mounting it to my rifle, I placed the scope in the mount, evenly spacing the scope turrets between the 2 mount rings. I secured the ring tops following Monstrum’s instructions to the specified torque of 18 in/lb…I noticed the there was roughly a 1/16th inch gap between the ring tops and the mount body itself (you can see the gap in the images posted). I took apart the mount rings and measured the interior diameter of the mount rings, both were in the ballpark of 0.941…that’s 590 hundredths off true. I contacted Monstrum about the tolerance difference. Monstrum stated that it was necessary to have room to fit the scope…however, 590 hundredths is a lot (very loose tolerances). I then put the ring tops back on, and re-torqued the 4 ring screws to spec. I went to the range, to test the mount and zero my scope. The first five single shots at 50 yards were great, scope didn’t move at all, I was able to get the zero. I then moved up to the 100 yard zeroing…fired five single shots; the first two shots were fine and was able to get my zero…I fired 3 more single shots to ensure my zero held, it did not, I looked at my scope to notice that my scope had moved back ¼ inch in the mount- throwing off my zero…and SCRATCHED the backend of my scope (also shown in images)!! I returned the Monstrum mount for a refund. Moral of this story, do NOT buy airsoft-grade products for legitimate rifle purposes!! The loss of stars is as follows: 1) Loose tolerances/ damage to scope. 2) My product concerns were not addressed by the company, even after contacting them. 3 & 4) Monstrum is both designed/ located in California, their products however are manufactured in China…which IMO, suggests that Monstrum is more about profits than quality. Monstrum does not support the American worker or the manufacturing industry! I have since purchased a Weaver 7075 cantilever 1in scope mount from Midway USA. Weaver is both designed and manufactured in America, I paid $25 more than I paid for the Monstrum mount. The interior ring diameter was closer to true at 0.973 inches…The ring tops secured to the mount body without a gap between the parts. I was able to zero my scope at 50 yrds, then at 100 yrds without fail…and have since put a box (50 rnds) downrange, the mount and scope have not moved at all. ... show more

  • Base stripped. Monstrum came through!
Style Name: 30 mm
The base stripped out on 2 screw holes with only 30 inch pounds. Revised. I contacted Monstrum and they immediately sent a new mount.
