The Rigid Precision mount is fully CNC machined from aircraft grade Aluminum resulting in the highest precision and tolerances possible. The optic manufacturer's specification shall always supersede Arken's Rigid Precision mount specification, unless higher.

I could not come up with any cons about this mount, I was, and still am a bit concerned that the finish will not be as rugged as options $40-100 more expensive, but at this price, I'm comfortable with that. I would say that it looks a lot more durable than I would have expected. I LOVE that it features the torque setting written next to the screws, and that it clearly shows the cant angle. The screws probably aren't off the most hardened metal - common on Chinese-made mounts, but at the torque settings listed, the chance of threading them seems rather unlikely, unless you're not using a torque driver, in which case do yourself a favor and order the Wheeler at ~$50, it will come in handy for other projects. I had kind of excluded Arken from my previous optics purchases, but honestly this mount makes me think that I might try one of their scopes or other products in the future. ... show more
