Description

Line up your shot at the exact height you want it with the Monstrum Precision Scope Rings! Each set of scope rings is precision crafted to a given height specification. Choose the height that matches your rifle setup and preferred cheek weld. Your shot is lined up just where you want it every time. Available in four heights to match your given needs: 0.80 inch, 1.00 inch, 1.20 inch, and 1.35 inch Height is measured from the center of the rifle scope tube to the bottom plane of the mount. 1 inch in diameter, the rings are built for use with standard 1 inch scope tubes. Available with either Picatnny or Weaver standard base mounts. The torx locking screw system allows for quick yet powerful tightening while protecting from the screws from stripping. The rings are crafted from lightweight 6061 grade aluminum, with a heavy duty steel mounting mechanism for extreme tolerance. All Monstrum rings and mounts include a lifetime guarantee.

...than the rings that usually come with inexpensive scopes. Consistent with my prior experiences with Monstrum, this product comes well packaged, and includes hex key and enough screws that you should wind up with spares. Rings themselves are well-finished, free of burrs/shavings/blemishes, and fit to spec. These are way stronger than the fiddly little excuses for rings that come with bargain scopes, and in my opinion look a lot better than those cheap things too, all for a pittance. However, you shouldn't mistake this for duty gear, because that's not what this is (Monstrum claims they're milled from 6061 aluminum; feels more like mystery meat metal to me). This gear is meant for casual civilian use, and like most Monstrum products, it excels at that. If you carry a rifle for work, buy something else. ... show more

I've bought a few sets of Monstrum rings, and they have all been top-notch. Every style I have purchased has been well-designed and well-machined. They fit well. They are an exceptional value. I do have a gripe with these particular rings, though. These rings come packaged in a clear plastic bag, shoved into a little box. There's nothing inherently wrong with that. The problem is that there is nothing separating the two rings in the package. Therefore, the rings rub together in shipping - and the result is that the finish is rubbed off of the rings on the sides that touch. Monstrum should consider slipping a little piece of foam or plastic between the two - just something to keep them from rubbing. Even just putting a piece of tape on one of them would work. I sent back the first set. The second set I received was better - so I decided that I could cover up the bad spots with a Sharpie marker, and live with them. ... show more

They are solid aluminum, attach nice and easy, and lock on tight. The only downside is the riser is solid, and not machined out. If they had been, I could use my irons on my lever action under the scope. If that doesn't matter to you, you won't be disappointed.

I bought a scope for my .22, however the rings that came with it were nearly an inch tall. This looked kind of ridiculous and seemed to affect my consistency so I looked online for something that would bring the scope down a bit. Found these, they were very inexpensive. Came in 3 days and I installed them to create a much more low profile and better functioning squirrel plinker. The star shaped bolts that came with it are the exact size as all my other bolts on the rifle so I'm happy I'm able to only bring one tool with me when traveling with it. ... show more
