I need a good but cheaper scope mount for a scope I had to pair up with a rh-25 thermal with an American defense mount. For the 1.63 height and it works perfect. I bought 3 more of the same for two other rifles I have. Very well built mounts

This is a solid little mount! I like the quick detach feature because sometimes I like to use irons and don't want to deal with screws to take it off and put it on. The adjustable clamps have simple latches on them that make the assembly feel very secure. In addition to looking nice, it seems pretty well-made and like it could take some abuse. We'll see how well it holds up to my .45-70! The only thing I'm not fond of is when mounting it "backwards" to get better eye relief, it's off-center. I would really appreciate a version of this product that has a rearward offset, that was made with reverse mounting in mind, or without an offset. I also wouldn't mind if it was 1/4 inch or so shorter. That said, this is a fantastic bang for buck, especially if you're not mounting it in reverse configuration, unlike me! ... show more

It'll hold your scope in place, but be careful with torquing down the mounting screws to your pic rail. It's very easy to accidentally over-tighten them and take a chunk out of your 1913. My upper receiver is now permanently damaged because of the way the mount is designed to allow the cross-bolt screws to chew into the rail. ... show more
