  • Great scope for a great price
Style: MOA Reticle
I won’t repeat the glowing marketing language Monstrum Tactical uses to describe this scope, but I will say—they’re not overstating things. I own several Monstrum Tactical scopes, from 1-4x LPVOs to this 5-30x56 long-range model, and the glass on all of them is clear and bright. I have this scope mounted on Savage 110 tactical rifle chambered in 6.5 Creedmoor. It zeros accurately—meaning the adjustments translate precisely to point-of-impact changes—and it's held zero reliably after several hundred rounds. The eye box is generous, and even at max magnification, getting a proper sight picture is easy. Are there better scopes out there? Probably. But I haven’t found anything that matches this level of performance anywhere near this price point. ... show more

  • Between good and great
Style: MOA Reticle
Very clear glass in my opinion, The was little tight on magnification adjustment at first but quickly got smooth. Seems to be high quality.

  • Nice Scope!
Style: MOA Reticle
I find this a quality scope for the price. While the clicks are a bit mushy, I have no issue in getting a good sighting result.

  • I really wanted to love it buuuuut… I really wanted to love it buuuuut…

So I’m not gonna bore you with all the normal stuff. Build quality: very good, weight: average, size compared to competitors: good. Seems a bit shorter compared to other scopes in this range. That’s a good thing, at least to me. Clarity and eye relief see below. Ok, that’s about it for positives. Take this review with a grain of salt. It’s just my opinion. Turrets: mushy and inaccurate between marks. Windage knob: good. Elevation: not good. Mushy. Marks don’t line up. All knobs texturing feel decent. Scope mounts: as expected. Throw them away. Borat lens caps. If you know you know. Ok, the reticle: Good if you plan on using it up to 10x. Yes, only 10x. Comically oversized beyond that. I mean if you’re just getting your gong on then it might be ok but if you want some precision you’re out of luck. It’s just huge. When zoomed to 30x it’s by far the largest reticle I have ever seen. At least on a scope that’s targeting more of a precision crowd. It illuminates, don’t care. Clarity of glass is actually quite decent. Eye relief is actually very good! So that’s about it. It’s really close to being a solid budget scope. Did I mention the size of the reticle? HUGE! THE END. Hope this helps someone. ... show more

  • Good glass for the price good for your first optic for your rifle if just starting out
Style: MIL Reticle
Very good piece of glass for the price. It’s sweet spot on the zoom level is at 16 to 18 X. Beyond that the eye box gets really tight. The build quality is very sound thus far have zero complaints and would suggest this for a budget optic
