Monstrum makes great scopes and I have 5. This particular scope is not their best effort...the glass is not as clear as their Gen 2 and other models. I'm going to ask if I can trade this for a different scope, although I missed the 30 day return due to surgery.

The glass, reticle, turrets, and eye relief are amazing and build quality is great. For beyond expectations for the price. I also own the hornet with similar qualities. But the down side is the this scope does not come with a sunshade or flip caps. Because these things do not change the proformance of the scope just it's ease of use, I still give it five stars. Just wish those accessories could be easier to find and purchase as a set. ... show more
