Great hunting scope. Placed this on top of a 7mm remington magnum. Love this retical for hunting. I also have the Hornet from Monstrum. You just cant beat these First Focal plane scopes at this price. That being said the retical is best for hunting applications within 400 yards in my opinion. The cross hairs are a little thick at full magnification. The Hornet from Monstrum has a very Fine dot at full magnification and can be used more easily at extreme long range shooting.
